He can't stop an emergency intervention.

Gov. Bush doesn't need Greer's permission, per the law.

A judge cannot enjoin the executive from enforcing the law, so long as the law is on the books.

Greer loses this one.

This was my thinking as well...that perhaps Bush's council doesn't think he can legally take custody without a court order...that has been denied. This is looking more bleak by the minute.

It's my understanding that the state does not need Greer's permission and they have authority over him. This is judicial tyranny.

He can't. IMHO, he has overstepped his bounds and authority. I say arrest Greer for obstruction.

That man certainly is working hard to kill his wife. Guess when he finally remembered what she had said 8 years ago he decided it should be his priority in life (when he wasn't commiting adultery and having children). With the Dems everything is "for the children" I guess with him all the hateful things he does are "for Terri". Too bad there's no tube we can disconnect from him.

How is he going to enforce it?

So, who does Gov. Faubus...I mean, Judge Greer get to enforce his "order" in the face of Governor Bush's authority? Rusty the Bailiff?

It is clear that Greer really, really, really wants Terri Schiavo dead. It seems to have become a personal crusade for him to kill this woman. Its like, he has issued the order that she has to die, and by God no one is going to stop him. The black robe of the judiciary is in danger of becoming a symbol of shame and evil.

This crackpot has usurped absolute power over the State of Florida and is holding it hostage!

This is why it was bad that Jeff Bush announced this.

As long as we have judges willing to murder the infirm, social security will be solvent forever.
I guess this is the Dems plan for Medicaid/Medicare, as well, and the true reason they demand the judiciary in their likeness via endless filibusters in the Senate.

What blows my mind is that for everything that we do, want, wish, or whatever is that the first rule of thumb is to GET IT IN WRITING. If it isn't in writing it's all heresay. Therefore if Michael Schiavo's statements that Terri's wish would have been not to live as she is, and it was never put into writing in a living will, then his statements are purely HERESAY. And as we all know HERESAY never holds up in court. I absolutely cannot for the life of me see why there is any doubts. WTF

Looks like they want to push this Judge over the edge and make him look nuts. But time's a-wasten...

People, NEVER EVER Forget after this is over that the jackass party is trying to keep the Senate, OUR Senate from appointing judges who would hopefully stop this kind of thing from happening.

Work hard now to make the senate stick to constitutional authority to confirm these judges. If we fail in that and the senate does not change the filibustering "rules", then we may end up with a bloody internal conflict on our hands.

This is what happens when you go on national TV and tell your enemy what you're planning to do. They should have just kept their mouths shut and said nothing to nobody and when the timing was right - gone in and taken her.

But .. once she was in state custody - Greer would just have her removed and have the tube removed again. There is no outcome for them but for her to die. It's sick! In fact, they are so determined - I believe they will be willing to castrate themselves to accomplish it.

I've had this sick feeling in my gut all day over this. Having been married to a brutal person - I shudder to think what would have happened to me in the same circumstances.

George Felos, attorney for the husband who only 7 years ago "remembered" his wife saying she did not want to live "in that condition". George Felos, advocate of "the right to die".

George Felos, Board member of the hospice to which Terry was sent to die after the jury awarded her 1 million dollars.

When will George Felos be paid? Perhaps after Michael Schiavo has come into his "late" wife's estate? When did George Felos and Michael Schiavo hook up anyway?

Follow the money. It will lead you home.

From Slate of all places:

"In addition to the rights all people enjoy, Ms. Schiavo has a statutory right under the Americans With Disabilities Act not to be treated differently because of her disability. Obviously, Florida law would not allow a husband to kill a nondisabled wife by starvation and dehydration; killing is not ordinarily considered a private family concern or a matter of choice. It is Ms. Schiavo's disability that makes her killing different in the eyes of the Florida courts. Because the state is overtly drawing lines based on disability, it has the burden under the ADA of justifying those lines. "

Posted elsewhere here on FR.

Terri's rights are being violated per ADA.
