I truly pray that your trust in Jeb's manhood is shown to be well-placed; for Terri, for Florida -- for the sake of the Republic.

The time is now for one man of principled power to wield his authority on behalf of righteousness; to rise up and stand in the breach against the enemies of our Nation. And, lest I be misunderstood, those who wish to see this woman die ARE advocates of a twisted view of morality that would lead this country to its doom.

Of all things that result from this case as it holds the national media stage, one must be this: constitutional conservatives, freemen and agents of righteousness all must take heed that THIS case triple-underscores that overriding importance of getting soild, moral, principled men of excellent character appointed to the judiciary.

If Terri dies, that will be a great loss. If she dies and We, the People, continue to allow conservative judicial nominees to be trampled to death by Senate Democrats, we will have lost far more than just Terri; we will have lost the whole of our Constitutional Republic. Oh, it will take time for it to rot away completely; perhaps beyond our childrens' lifetimes, but rot she will, and we -- this generation -- shall be memorialized in the halls of history's infamous as her hangmen.

The DCF can snag her right now

They won't. Greer has denied their request to take her into protective custody. They could now appeal that to the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals, where their appeal will be denied, and then to the FL Supreme Court which will deny DCF's involvement in this case at this late date, also. then DCF and/or Jeb Bush would have to think long and hard if they would want to push the matter to the point of political suicide. Will be interesting to see how this pans out.

Thanks for this. I am called on a regular basis by the Republican Party of Florida, based on my past monetary support. These folks will be credited with my anger the next time I am called. (I will not be rude to the people calling. THEY are not to blame...I will just inform the caller of my anger at these so-called Republicans who think life should be snuffed out without direct written permission.)

Thank you for speaking up in defense of those who are working their hearts out and doing everything within their LEGAL power to save Terri. Personally, I'm awed at how far some politicians have gone in Terri's defense.

I'm as heartbroken about this case as anyone. But I'm really getting disgusted with those who blame the very ones trying to help her. What next? Will they start blaming the family for choosing the wrong lawyer? For not making this argument, or that? Oh, wait! I read that one yesterday!

I agree it's a shame. We can rescue strangers in foreign lands but we can't find the wherewithal to protect an innocent at home.

I hoped the days of outrage were going to become fewer and farther apart with the last election, not more and more often. I don't think the (R)'s can be blamed for this atrocity though, it's the (in)justice system killing Terri to cover up their incompetence.

It's easy to make demands when all you see is a poor woman being starved to death for no better reason than she is an impediment to that filthy whoreson Michael. It may not be so easy to meet those demands however.

I think the President has done everything he 'believes' he can do. His legal familiars are scampering around whispering advice into his ear and for good or ill, he trusts their demented chattering.

GWB is, in my opinion, a good man and he has done more than I ever expected a president to do. I think he's receiving bad advice from those he surrounds himself with and by trusting them, he is making a mistake. Lawyers and judges who have no dog in this fight are all over the board in their positions concerning the constitutional options the president has, it's unfortunate that those who have his ear are of the stripe who will revel in spilling the blood of the innocent.

Exactly.

I was called today at lunch, heard the very nice old lady out, and explained "unless you fix this Shaivo situation, don't expect a penny out of me, ever again."

I was not happy with the text of the legislation they voted on.. but the Republicans who voted to KILL this bill, and not allow it to go forward chose to err on the side of DEATH, and IMHO not consistent with what I expect a REPUBLICAN to do....

The DCF obviously thinks they have a case or they wouldn't have petitioned Greer. Not like he was going to grant it.

That said, I would think Jeb has the power to order DCF to ignore Greer and go in and get her anyway.

And if he does, I hope it isn't too late. If he doesn't and Terri's dies, then I will assume that this is God's will.

I do have faith in Jeb, whatever he does. No one can say that he doesn't care if Terri dies. He does care.

IMO, another lawyer might have been able to bring more experience, and importantly, name recognition to be respected by the Courts BUT the family has done all within their means and so has the lawyer to his capability.

The Family, Jeb, the Prez, Republicans,..they cannot be blamed for evil. The only power that has the ability to defy evil is God. If it be his will.

I know a number of people are frustrated and looking for someone to blame, I do understand the sentiment. I am ill at what I've been forced to face about our society. There is no going back. Whatever occurs from here on out I can never look at this country the same again. And I do think we've witnessed absolutely the Courts assuming Rights as the highest authority in the land. Terrifying.

But, I KNOW the personal risks and courage it has taken for Reps to act as they have. To deny that and use them as scapegoats for evil is wrong. As wrong as denying an innocent human being of food and water.

Ah, but many have made that case that he doesn't care, is Pilate, or a wimp. Oh, and accused grandstanding.

Jeb will do as God leads him. I will accept His will, and I will stand by Jeb and the Reps either way.

And here I thought that the LAW gave DCF the right to intervene NOW - regardless of what any judge has to say about it.

Isn't that the way that the Florida statute reads?

Not ascribing blame to anyone in Dubya's administration, I would nonetheless encourage it to consider not running to the judiciary and legislative branches for approval nearly every time it wants to accomplish something. The branches of government are EQUAL. When was the last time the courts ask for a nod from the executive branch before making a ruling? Yes, obey the law, by all means. But when there is a contradiction in the law, stand up to the robed tyrants!

Bingo. I can't see Jeb giving the press conference today and thinking that Greer was going to have a sudden epiphany and cave.

No, I think he's up to something else. He'd just better get on with whatever it is very, very quickly, or it's a mute point.

I think there's something up, too, primarily because Terri's parents haven't filed an appeal with the US Supreme Court. They may end up with temporary custody via DCF actions.

I believe this is true? If anyone looks at the total denial of any positive outcome for Terri and total win in all avenues for Michael, one cannot help but be suspicious.

If suspicious, it is apparent that something murky is under the surface that all efforts are preventing coming to light. And that something could not be minor - it has to be huge and a mighty dirty secret.

I am suspecting if it turns out to be true, it will involve Hospice used as a tool of the euthanasia effort (maybe all the hospice programs all over the country), Medicare (they pay hospice), the judiciary and possibly even the state. It could be a coverup so profitable and so inflammatory that it must be kept quiet because the masses would be in a total outrage.

I know this sounds ridulous but the flags are there.
I'm wondering if possibly there is a connection with Medicare and why they pay for hospice care all over the country.

We all fear the future when we will be slabs of meat and a Nazi like regime will determine who lives, who dies and when. The death culture is creeping into America far faster than any believed.

What if it is already here - starting in the large retirement areas such as Florida? Florida could gain by the faster passing of its seniors - especially the ones without relatives rattling the cages. Their estates would go to the state. Hospice could be the tool to bring this about for Florida. And the judiciary would be infiltrated by the death culture or a part of the coverup.

There is just far too much restriction on the information of Terri, too much denial of any efforts to have a new look at the case, too, too much coincidence that every single judicial action would ignore any request of the family and ALWAYS rule for the one wanting to cause death.

I am suspicious that there is a deep, dark, snaky underbelly to this whole thing.

We know the liberal movement has taken over the costal large cities - New York and California. Yet Florida gets the retirees. Do they mine for estates in Florida? Is that their natural resource?

Nothing else explains the Terri murder. It is the major move of the euthansia movement and their plans for America. There cannot be daylight shined on the true facts of this case - so all efforts have turned to rejecting any new review and death to the victim.

Afterall Felos was the prime mover of the hearsay evidence being accepted as evidence in Florida. Another coincidence?

McCain is the leader of the gang of four.....Collins, Chaffee, Snowe, and McC.

He keeps them in line and gives them cover.
