Link to LIVE Florida Senate DEBATE.. ABOUT TO VOTE

And your point is what, exactly? German courts found that Jews could be deprived of their property. Many US courts have 'found' innocent people guilty. Just because the courts 'find' something doesn't mean it is correct.
I'm beginning to think the judiciary couldn't find its own posterior with both hands glued to it, but that's just me.
"John Couey. Who's gotten and will get more due process from the state of Florida than will Terri Schiavo."
So very true and it makes me physically ill.
Republicans? This is not political.
This is a reflection of the people of America, and how far our culture has fallen. A reflection of the Judicial tyranny we've accepted.
The Reps have fought and I commend them.
I am wondering if Jeb should have put off his press conference until after the vote. ANyone think it had any effect on how the Senators voted?
I do. And it did. That was stupid political timing on Gov. Bush's part.
I wish it would sicken more people in the state of Florida.
This is being done in THEIR name.
Where are they?
"Was a troll"
With a name like "Grand Old Petroleum" how could there be any doubt, LOL!
BTTT!!!!!!
The only thing I can think of to do..
Is to check out the laws in our states...
Citing the ones we may not like..
Writing to elected officials..
RESEARCH the backgrounds of candidiates before voting for them..
and getting off our collective arses to initiate change...
Ms.B
Just saw this on the Constitutional option and Frist maybe not having the votes..

Gee, what a surprise. It all comes down to the media whore McCain. (I truly despise that guy - shameless, self-promoting RINO that he is!)
***You made the same mistake.
Putting the aspect of Jeb's possible political, personal, professional gain ( and suspected exploitation ) at the beginning of the statement, with "doing the right thing" as an afterthought, as an "oh by the way it's the right thing to do despite the fact that the evil K. Rove told you to do it for the BFEE...as they say at DU.
I made LOTS of mistakes as a newbie. I STILL screw up.***
I did not make a mistake. I put it at the beginning because it was the subject upon which you were criticizing the dude. I noted that it was secondary to doing the right thing. How does that make "doing the right thing" an afterthought?
Anyway, we're just arguing semantics now. A woman's life is on the line and we're worried about in which order someone hit the keys on the keyboard. I'm not saying I never screw up, or that the newbie worded his post perfectly, I'm just saying, ease up a lil! =P (see? the smilie face makes everything ok!)
prayers for Terri
(placed at the end for emphasis, not afterthought) =)
Option one without a doubt. But it was not just this person. Read the posts. I am noticing more and more John Kerrys ("I'm personally opposed to abortion, but I will not impose my personal beliefs in the political arena" or something like that). Believe me I will fight these people all day long and with the Lord as my strength I will never tire.
This person yesterday said that I had a lot of nerve calling into question their christianity in this matter. I told her I will now and always question those who inaccurately portray my Lord and that it is the duty of every Christian to do so. We are striving every day to be Christ-like and I can say without a doubt that Christ would not want this woman starved.
Frist's problem is that he is running for president.
If the children can speak and have sex you have to feed and water them. Otherwise, feel free to starve and dehydrate them, in Florida at least.

"Here's a link the an story that details how a top Florida Department of Law Enforcement agent was ordered to shut-down a criminal investigation in the Schiavo case!"
WOW! Very interesting websight! I bookmarked it for continued reading. Thanks for the link.
