I am wondering if Jeb should have put off his press conference until after the vote. ANyone think it had any effect on how the Senators voted?

I do. And it did. That was stupid political timing on Gov. Bush's part.

I disagree that this was "stupid political timing" by Jeb. He has his brother's instincts, and almost assuredly had his next move planned in the event of either outcome by the Florida legislature.

Jeb's heart is in the right place, and he's extremely shrewd. I'm glad he's on the side of life.
