Please educate me here. Can those judges be removed from office by the President?

I assume the answer is no or he would have cleared out all the Democrats appointed by Clinton like those Court of Appeal Death-o-crats.

The department shall, within 24 hours after providing or arranging for emergency removal of the vulnerable adult, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays, petition the court for an order authorizing emergency protective services."

It only provides the authority for them to petition the court.

They tried that and the court denied the petition.

It is. I cannot believe that it has gone this far with nobody helping her. This is really sick.

And here I've been worried about how my sick cat was going to do without food for one day when she had surgery at the vet yesterday! I can't even imagine the pain Terri's parents and brother are being put through. And Terri especially.

Our Founding Fathers knew just what to do when they found themselves in a society just like that. They worked hard to make one that wouldn't.

You are correct, from the Declaration of Independence:

The fight over judicial nominations is going to be ugly. But, in the end - our side will let the Dems steamroll them. We'll have to put up someone just to the bare right of Teddy Kennedy for them to get through.

Face it. We've voted in a bunch of people that have ZERO backbone in doing the "right" thing. All the rest (the legislative action this past weekend, Jeb's posturing, etc) is theatre for our consumption. And we continue to fall for it.

I'm disgusted enough to sit out the next 10 elections. But it won't do any good, and if enough of us did it, the Hildabeast will be President - which is even worse, God help us.

I have a feeling it will be ringing soon..If this Govt fails to take action to save this woman than how can we be a beacon to the world. How can we send our young men and women into battle to die for strangers to have freedom when we can't even save one of our own from ourselves. If she dies, the liberals have won.

The lizards imported from Central America for PETCO have more rights than an innocent US citizen.

Heck, you can be arrested for doing to a dog what's being done to her.

If I lived in FL, I would be in my car making for the state capital. If people in that state actually give a damn, if their pols don't actually speak for them, if they don't want this done IN THEIR NAME, they'd better make that clear NOW.

Or Floridians will have to live with this on their consciences and the consequences of their inaction.
