It's not at all unlike the late 1980s massive arrests of peaceful, praying children during the Operation Rescue campaigns against the abortoriums. Was that sad and outrageous of their parents, too? Or as sad and outrageous as abortion or assisted spousalcide?
To: GatorGirl
It's Spring Break in at least three counties surrounding this Pinellas County hospice. Sorry to burst your bubble! If the kids were actually from Pinellas, you might actually have a point.

Just think - only a few more hours and there will be so many who have their bloodlust satisfied for the week.
Oh, the power - the utter power.
What is amazing to me - all these courts and none of them can make a right decision for life, none are willing to reopen this case and let the light in.
A major war is coming - we are seeing the left and the death culture in America. Not a pretty sight.

So is criminal neglect. Especially when it is for the express purpose of causing DEATH.

There's evidence she can - for instance, she swallows saliva. Nurses have fed her, but her "husband" forbade anyone to feed her.

Man, doesn't this just make you proud to be an American? /Sarcasm on and going full blast! It's a strange feeling - losing respect for one's country. I've never felt ashamed of my country like I do today.

The kids were handcuffed and taken away to jail.

Sorry, it's your bubble that is broken. The children are from Texas, not Pinellas County, FL.
To: Bob J
Nobody's "using the kids". If you had bothered to read the text accompanying the pictures you would have known that the kids decided to do it on their own.
If you won't read; you're no better off than those that can't.

I don't know what that has to do with anything. I was just answering a poster's question.
As you said, they are being charged with trespassing. I read it as a statement of fact rather than of judgment.
Similarly, it is a statement of fact that human laws are not the highest arbiter of right and wrong, of what should be allowed and not allowed. People everywhere are always obligated to follow the dictates of their own consciences above any merely human law.

Do you believe everything the media places before you?

Amen to that!!! My two cents, since everybody else is giving theirs, I would do this with my kids in a second. I don't even care if it is "grandstanding". You've got to have the guts to act on what you think is right and this is a great opportunity for action because somebody is being treated in an inhumane way. A lot of things that are right are not popular. Most "learning" happens out of school.

The crime was tresspassing, not carrying water. Oh well in that case shoot the little buggers! God forbid they should TRESPASS in order to give comfort to a dying woman! Wouldn't want those trespassing little delinquents upsetting your delicate sensibilities.

What's happening to our country?
This is a disgusting indecency - arresting children who bring water to a dying woman.
