Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
FNC is reporting the White house is urging the FL legislature to act again. The FNC reporterette conjectured that the WH hinting that the Fed courts may be disapointing
I never listen to what the MSN says about anything, not even FNC...they have no way of knowing one way or another how a panel of judges will decide...but yet they like to make it look like they have the inside scoop...

My mother had terminal cancer but her mind was ok. The doc and nurses kept asking her to sign herself onto hospice (does not have to be outside of your home) but she refused. She made me promise to never put her in a nursing home. While an inpatient about 2 months later, she was finally convinced that the only option was to sign herself into hospice. She asked me to do it (right in front of her) and that is the only way I ever would have done that. That was a Thursday - she died peacefully that Sunday. Oh, and even while in hospice, they brought her meals, so starvation was not in the picture.
You are right. I started with the opinion that he was just your average run-of-the-mill demon. I have greatly underestimated him.

Yes. And isn't it strange how these pieces are often not mentioned as part of trial transcripts? Or on the MSM?
Why is it that at least 4 policemen stand guard at a hospice for Terri? Why can MS go into her room and lock the door? How is it that an insulin vial and apparent injection is simply left uninvestigated and no charges brought? What is the standard of care at this hospice for OTHER families' patients? What do these 'caregivers' do/do not do for their patients?
The kinds of things Michael said around the nurses were hard for me to believe. He was FAR to BLUNT and REVEALING. After hearing SCOTT and STEVE, and things they said on talk radio, I believe it.
INCREDIBLE that a Judge would believe them over the Schindlers and Terri's WONDERFUL friends.
I'm in my early 50's and as I posted before, I love this country, and I think it's the greatest, most charitable nation known to man, but if this woman is allowed to die without the feeding tube being restored, I can never look at this country in quite the same way as I have for all these years. And that makes me very sad.
Please use an Executive Order to insert an I-V to stabilize Terri where she is today, until the federal courts decide one way or the other on the feeding tube

Let's give credit where credit is due. Both brothers have tried, but I don't think they've tried hard enough. Where do they stand right now? I have no idea. Perhaps tomorrow we'll hear from them? If not tomorrow, then it will be too late.
In the mean time we should not stop emailing/calling them and letting them know how our hearts feel about Terri.

They are BIG bullies. I heard somewhere tonight that MS is 6'7". Overpowering for most people he would meet. No wonder most everyone who comes in contact with him does his bidding.
Poor Terri. I wish someone could have saved her long ago from such an evil force.
