Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.

What about a massive freeper email campaign to the White House? I think that is a much more powerful center of influence. Perhaps we can get Bush to speak about the issue tomorrow some time. And I don't mean his press spokesman either. When Bush these days says something with conviction, he can be very persuasive. And Liberals fear him, although they'll never admit it.

Scott and Steve have been on talk radio in Philly for two nights in a row and Scott was on Greta tonight. They were loud, rude, arrogant and threatening. They LIE without thinking twice. BULLIES, THUGS, and LIARS is what they are. They HANG themselves. Poor Teri married into the wrong family. The SCHIAVO brothers are every woman's NIGHTMARE!!!!

When you elect your judges, are you able to get information regarding all of their prior cases as well as seeing into the future on how they will rule in years to come? When I try to research candidates for the bench I find precious little information on what these judges stand for.

Are you aware of every law that your state legislature passes? If you are, then you are extraordinary because the average person doesn't follow these things that closely. They elect politicians according to the party they're affiliated with, and trust that these people will represent their views. Sadly, that's not always the case. It wasn't until this weekend that I learned about our state's law regarding hearsay and living wills. How many other Floridians really knew about this and would have approved of it? Still, the representatives from my district have been strongly supporting the fight to save Terri, as have many from districts all over Florida.

As I understand it, the bill they are currently trying to pass would put an end to this hearsay nonsense.

Sorry, but I am just so tired of Floridians being painted with a broad brush every time anything goes wrong. Since the majority of Americans are buying into Schiavo's lies, it's obviously not just Floridians who have an "outlook" worth questioning.

Well, if she does get out of that hell hole called Suncoast Hospice and home with her parents we need to flood the family with cards and flowers. Let them know how many of us have been out here praying, praying ,praying...

Currently those in Florida, including Jeb, are lobbying 9 Reps Senators to reverse positions and side in favor of the legislation the Florida State Legislature passed. They need three, and rumors have it they have two leaving only one more to pass the bill. You can go to helpterri.com and get their names to contact. Either way, if they act it must be by tomorrow or it won't happen.

>>As I said, Whitmore's opinion is circular. His judgment is based on the trial court findings which the law required him to set aside.

I remember Felos giving a sidwalk shouting conference saying something like ~I am going to make sure Judge Whitmore knows ALL of the FACTS of this case!~

I thought, that's just NUTS. The 'facts' are all of the opinions of Greer, after he tossed out or ignored the majority of the parent's evidence.

They are just making it look like they are working through the night. They are really just putting one more nail in Terri's coffin.

Only a massive active showing of the people at the hospice can save Terri.

The politicians and the parties cannot be trusted. They've been lulling and stalling us until it was too late. Today may already be too late as hours and not days are of the essence now. So, stop seeking a political solution to a human issue. You can't solve a problem with the same minds that created the problem in the first place.

There are times when action must be let loose from its bounds. This is one of those times.

God bless Terri and her loving parents and siblings. And God bless those who fought to save her life.

The struggle continues..

I heard one of the Schiavo brothers on Greta tonight. He said the bad blood btw Schindlers and Schiavo dates from the malpractice award - - that Mr. Schindler wanted some of it, and was mad he wasn't getting any. What's up with this?

FNC is reporting the White house is urging the FL legislature to act again. The FNC reporterette conjectured that the WH hinting that the Fed courts may be disapointing.

Am I the only one who considers it a good sign that the judges are taking Terri's state into consideration

No, they can order the tube inserted and then work thru the night.

In all my years of voting, almost never even recognize any names of judges on the ballot except at the bottom level local court (and that sometimes). Above that, never, let alone what they stand for.

I think you have made a valid point here. What we are witnessing is a general moral decline across our entire nation.

One final point for tonight. If they were to allow this woman to die this way, and no further evidence were to be introduced to convince me this was the right thing to do, I could never quite view this country the same way I have until now. That would be very sad, indeed.

The President has spoken publically about this at his S.S. rallies. He is a good saleman, but the object is time and that we don't have. The Republican holdouts in the Florida State Senate are our only hope should the 11th rule against Terri.
