Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
I don't think the black lady that gave her speech toward the last on Sunday night voted "yea"--
You remember her, the one that looked like a bag lady?..
Whoa, I don't know if she even new where the front of the room was...
She is a representative that is responsible for making LAW in these here United States, people..
Be afraid, be very afraid
Amen to your Heaven-Inspired Prayer, Knitting!
I see your point.
Hard to tell anything right now.
LOL! to both replies.
O'Reilly is finally seeming to come to our side...he is asking Michael Gross to name one other person besides Michael Schiavo that testified that Terri said she'd want to die...and the guy wouldn't name anyone else...
The insurance agency was a false front...it wasn't in operation for long, didn't seem to make any money, and then it was sold to a bigger insurance family.
Google Jerger and Centonze Insurance. You'll find it.
A riddle: what is the best term to describe Michael Schiavo?
[highlight for answer:]
A "Michael Schiavo". To call him anything else, other than a George Felos or a George Greer, would be an insult to that other thing. |
He's a nurse at the Pinellas Park PD jail.
I thought Michael was/is a nurse. And, I thought I read somewhere that he was the jail nurse.
I heard that too. I am hoping he's working in a place that will be his new home in the future. His place of employment is probably where he has learned all the tricks like injecting Terri with insulin.
PRICELESS!!!
I came back down for a minute...why aren't the news reporting this, anyone know for sure what all this means?
I hope so, but don't think so.
Goodnight, Halls.
I am not surprised. Black people I know don't kill their relatives and are not burdened by excessive desire to fit in with the elites who are filled with joy when they snuff out something.
The black people I know are very religious, loving and absolutely take care of one another more than most white people I know. They don't seem to outsource their love and caring as much. Just my opinion.
What comfort words!!!!!!!
How'd you do that???
(Cool!)
HHAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA ROFLMAO!!!!
The fact they are taking so long suggests to me that the 11th is going to not going to get involved.
We should all remember:
-The Congressional legislation was only to get them a chance at the federal courts. That much has been accomplished.
-There was never a guarantee of success.
-The standard for a temporary injuction has always been substantial likelyhood of success.
-There is still the issue of scheduling the full de novo hearing at the trial court level. (is anyone thinking about that?)
-There is no reason any of this has been in vain. Congressional hearings will be had. Laws will be changed and made. (I would like to see the state court standard raised to "beyond a reasonable doubt".)
I confess I don't remember Boies, but all I had access to at the time was the MSM. The most vivid imagery I remember where those demanding to be let into the room in Florida that had kicked others out while they counted ballots in private. I believe some of those people belong to this board. LOL
The only other visuals that stick with me are the huge crowd Inauguration Day on both sides, and Clinton's never ending goodbye.
My Grandparents raised us and tried to have time for games. We loved to play hide the thimble.
