Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
Amen. Still believing in miracles. Remember what Terri told us in her own words: "Where there's life, there's hope." Can't give up.

"Father God, I am in agreement with my sister, Pegita and the millions of others in this world praying for Terri -- your child. I claim your promise, Lord, that where 2 or 3 are gathered, there you will be also, and ask that you will infuse the entire area surround the Hospice with your presence. Lynn, Burt Saunders, James King and that unknown person whose name we do not know but who may yet save the life of our dear sister in Christ, Terri.
Grant life, mercy and favor to your servant Terri, beloved Child of God. Heal not only her infirmities, but also those of her blessed Champion serving at the Foot of the Cross, John Paul.

I have very much appreciated Michael Savage's rants this week. He is right there with us in agony not believing that in America a vulnerable disabled woman could be treated in such a gruesome ghoulish manner. Go, Savage!

Apparently, the Schindlers' attorney filed his brief late. They missed the deadline for a couple of hours, but they could still get a hearing if the full court agrees.
In another attempt to save their brain-damaged daughter's life, Terri Schiavo's parents asked the entire 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday to review the decision of the court's three-judge panel that refused to order the reinsertion of Schiavo's feeding tube.The request for an "expedited rehearing" of the full court was made 10 hours after the panel had rejected an emergency request by the severely brain-damaged woman's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler.
A majority of the 12-member court would have to agree to hear the case before it would be considered, said Matt Davidson, the court's calendar clerk. There was no immediate word on when the court would make that decision.

Father , please hear our cry. Our nation is in such a conflict. Killing babies legal, and now our disabled aren't considered worthy of life and our elderly who once were considered the matriarchs/patriarchs of our family in danger also. We don't know your ultimate plan for Terri yet so we can only continue to pray and cry out as we are told to do. If it is your will, I ask that you sustain Terris body with the manna and water that she needs and to open eyes all across the country of this death march on the ones that can not protect themselves that has invaded this wonderful free country that you provided for this world. In your Sons name. Amen

If the Florida statutes specifically state that it is illegal to starve and dehydrate someone, why couldn't the Florida Attorney General just make a call to the hospice to tell them that he is sending the ambulance to get Terri and that if they don't tell the police guards to stand down (they are on the hospice property, so the hospice must have allowed them permission to be there) that he will have them all arrested for attempted murder?
I am not in Florida and do not know their statutes but I believe that this would be an elementary legal provision that would not have been overlooked by those working on Terri's case, if it exists. They may have a statute that supercedes that...like maybe the fact that they are taking loser hubby and family's hearsay testimony in lieu of a written will....and thus, her wishes (alleged as they may be) would prevail...believe me if that is all they had to use to give Terri water, this would not be happening.
