Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
Sorry, FL. That wasn't me.
Hi everyone, it's noon in Poland. I'm browsing the news and it says Atlanta refused to save Terri 2:1. What now? The Supreme Court? They're not gonna help, you know that. Pres. Bush taking her into protective cutody? Is he really gonna do it that late? Somebody please give me ANY good news. Please...
good morning FV. I just learned that the 11th circuit turned Terri down. I am sick!!(I actually am broken all out in hives!!).......We must continue to pray and work as much as we can in the next few hours to convince Fl.Leg. to PASS a bill or for Jeb to act and take her into protective custody. (I still am not sure how that works legally). My prayers continue.........
welcome to you! as far as good news the best is that God will prevail! Legally, there is nothing new so far.. we will know soon if Jeb and George Bush are truly Godly men or mere politicians..
A M E N!!!!!!!
I wish that Pres. Bush would take her into protective custody at least to get through the next round of hearings. To let her die and THEN find out she was abused and the Judical system broke, seems barbaric!! Just found out myself that this happened.(3am in Los Angeles).
have to get to bed.. no matter what happens just remember Christ is King! and He loves us, and God's will triumphs over evil every time!
just woke up and HAD to log on to see what was happening. I am appalled, and yet not terribly surprised ... when I went to bed 5 hours ago and they were delaying their ruling, my heart was starting to sink. But I've not given up hope.
They just said on Fox that though the appeal was denied Terri's case still has several wheels on it....and they are working on stuff right now....
Good morning pollywog!
PRAYERS for all the SCHINDLERS and Terri. I will never refer to her as SCHIAVO again!!!
No mother should have to bear this.
The damage THAT man inflicted on this country. And poor people like Terri have to pay!!!!!
You know I have Fox on right now...and that moron Napolitano is on and they are talking about that school shooting and he says "that was done in cold blood, what is happening in our schools?" and I am thinking, its people like you with no regard for human life, no morals and values and totally disregarding God....let's face it, these bad things happen because we as a society invite it, the devil is rampant because we allow him to be....the liberals just don't get it and then they are the first to complain...tsk tsk tsk
Just moments ago on Fox, Judge Napolitano "soothed" the viewing audience by reminding us that although the process of death by dehydration and starvation is horrific and painful, the part of Terri's brain that feels pain was completely destroyed long ago. She feels no pain as she dies, he said. I jumped up out of my chair and pointed at the television. "Liar! YOU are a LIAR!!" (Um, Judge Andy, then why did they have to give her pain medication during her period for the cramps she experienced, I ask you?)
They will file appeal to the US Supreme Court. The court is not likely to take jurisdiction. The governor can place her into protective custody under FS 415.1051 but hasn't acted yet. The congress can place her witness protection since they did supeona (sp) her to committee, but they haven't acted yet. The DCF could place her into protective custody while they carry out their investigation, but they haven't acted yet. The Florida legislature could pass a bill that would do the trick and they consider it at 1.00pm today.
THREE CLINTON APPOINTEES!!!!!!!!!
Yep....but at least one judge dissented strongly...we still have 8 others in the 11th to appeal to...
Keep praying...looks like Jeb is making headway. And this is still the Lord's territory.
That having been said, I no longer believe in justice, in this country or any other. God help us if we fall into the hands of these black robed demons. No deed goes unnnoticed by God...for those tempted to despair, don't. Vengence is mine, says the Lord...I will repay. There is another verse that says it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
May God either change their hearts or repay them tenfold for the evil they've done.
I no longer expect justice or mercy in our courts.
Amen, Pajamajan.
Avery Friedman on Fox now looks positively gleeful. How can anyone rejoice over this tragedy?
