I believe the bottle has a screw on lid. She couldn't have squirted them. She could, however, have taken the lid of and poured.

If one of Terri's family somehow got a gun into her room and shot her (Please, I am NOT saying they should do this nor am I advocating it..I am only asking a philosophical question here), would they be charged with murder?

Our founding fathers logic can be found in your post....Thanks!

I hope there is karma and Michael pays every day of his miserable life for this.

He's going to have to invest some of that $$$ he swindled from the court settlement in a body guard. My hunch is that he is a marked man.

People are that ticked.

I think a mass Ghandi type approach would be the greatest thing in the world they could do. All march peacably in a line with water in hand. Let them club them down one by one.

Um, if you're just marching with water, I don't think they're going to arrest you. This woman tried to get inside to give water to Mrs. Schiavo. If these deputies are worth their salt, you're not going to be able to do that peacably. At which point you would be arrested for trespassing.

You truly are a DS. When I first heard about the brad and water, my first thought was prisoners'. Glad I'm not the only one that caught that!

There was no wsay they were going to be able to get anywhere near her. If you think otherwise then you are an even bigger idiot than previously pointed out by others.

"Just doing my duty" was not a viable defense at Nuremburg.

I just cannot take you seriously.

When you have completed 1/4 of the research and background on this case, as I have done, then we can discuss.

Put her out in the parking lot and take turns driving over her.

More of this is what is needed in my opinion. More people arrested for peacefully trying to bring her water

I agree! This is Easter week, THOUSANDS of people are off and ABLE to go there TODAY!!

That's an old law school hypothetical. If I push someone out the 10th storey window and you shoot them as they hurtle past the 5th storey, you're guilty of murder since you shortened the natural span of their life (which was another couple of seconds).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the folks at Nuhremberg were guilty of war crimes (most of murder). No war crime here, nor are these deputies guilty of murder.

Another Florida Moment:

Elian Gonzales, that last illegal alien returned from the United States.

The courts created this "right of the husband...." I wonder when this right will be applied to a wifes lack of a will? ....Where is the living will that formally documents the wishes of the wife?

I'm not a Florida lawyer, but I understand that in such situations, the spouse is the default guardian. The legislature could have made the parents the guardian, but they have chosen not to.

Let me see, these deputies are arresting a woman for trying to bring water to a woman who is being killed. So, the difference is?

Like that story people claim is true:

A guy often takes an unloaded gun and shoots at his wife while they are arguing. The son is mad at his mom so he takes the gun and loads it. After his father goes weeks without shooting at his mom he climbs to the top of the building and jumps off to commit suice=ide.as he is getting ready to jump off the dad and mom get in an argument, and on the way down the dad picks up the gun shoots, misses the wife and kills the son. To further complicate it there is a safety net a few floors down for people painting the building. The final ruling is the son killed himself.

Because Greer has consistently refused to entertain any evidence presented by the Schindlers.

He is clearly in someone's pocket, and it's not her family's.

"How did a woman that old and that size get past those deputies to begin with?"

I've noticed that most posters who support the killing of Terri don't have the balls to express their actual feelings about the case on Free Republic. They are content to make immature little comments such as this. Just an observation.
