Terri Brother ..................Terri early on in a hospice .................. Michael has let his wife deteriate!
Compare the early Hospice Photo
At this time Terri was able to chew and swallow and was learning to use the pararall bars to walk again...as soon as the malpactice law suit was won Michael Schiavo remember his wife wanted to die...so he would move her from one location to another every time they thought she was ready to start rehab again!
Lets try to have the same page to fight the MISLEADING OUT THERE!
Carla Iyer came close to accuse her former coworker of killing other patients, addition to conspiring with Michael Shiavo about Terri.
Carla Iyer claimed she was the "Floor Supervisor" while she was an LPN. In many states, an LPN is prevented by law from performing the actions that an RN can, including some of the treatments she gave or performed for Terri.
I hope everyone considers that Carla may not be the best source for information. Her documented statements are a can of worms just waiting to be opened. If she is reliable, great--but if she isn't, it is better to know now.
I think I also heard that Dr. say he would be releasing some videos today showing some of his patients and their results from his therapy--don't know if he has released them or not---
Just heard on radio news that Michael Schiavo has also filed papers at the appellate court in Georgia, to keep the tube from being re-attached---
This is one SICK monster---if Terri is the vegetable that he claims, SHE isn't even going to KNOW let alone mind being fed and given therapy---but if she DOES know what is going on, then she isn't a vegetable and therefore, she MUST be fed and given therapy--
Either way, he is a loser and a MONSTER!!!
BTW, the insulin charges are in her affidavit. The only thing not mentioned is the finding of the vile. I am not going to discredit her on the absence of one small bit of info. That affidavit should have been damaging.
Most nursing homes are run by LPN's. There is usually an Rn on the house for the whole facility.
She may have been the charge nurse on the floor.
In her deposition from 2003, she suggested that a coworker was killing patients, in addition to sympathizing with Michael Shiavo.
I'm not sure why her testimony didn't raise some red flags about her credibility. You would think outlets like Fox or Rush Limbaugh would do their homework but they aren't.
I highlighted her insulin charges from her affidavit in 67 and it is no way to be on a fact-finding mission to disregard valid points with "I don't cares" that in fact relate to the credibility of the witness.
Thank you. It looks like he has all kinds of info. I will certainly read up.
And btw, you are wrong to say the only thing missing from her affidavit about the insulin was finding the "vile" (sic).
There is nothing about finding markings on Terri Schiavo and she only stated that it was possible. She in no way imparted the level of detail that she gave on tv today.
Thanks for that additional info.
I think it is imperative to be factual and not emotionally carried away as I think Rush has been.
My response to the caller on RUSH now!
Rush had a tape of this nurse today. She said that after Michael left Terri's room where he had been for about twenty minutes, she found Terri sweating profusely, and the nurse checked her sugar rating, which was so low it didn't register. The nurse said that she then checked the wastebasket and found the implements wrapped up and they were for insulin. She believes Michael tried to murder Terri.
I have no idea about anyone else. My concern is with the nurse who is being cited as a valid source when the facts don't seem to add up to support her claims.
I think it is worth noting that she came close to openly accusing her coworker of murdering patients. Perhaps that is why Carla I. was let go, and not because she was blowing the whistle about Terri.
"CSI MEDBLOGS: CODEBLUEBLOG ANALYZES TERRI SCHIAVO'S CT OF THE BRAIN"
Sounds like Rush is doing a great job. Keep it up, bro. Better late than never. Maybe it will make a difference even now.
The above is the phrase that should always be used to descirbe Michael's relationship to Terri.
Then she should have told the court that.
Thanks for your kind words earlier cyncooper. I agree with you 100%. It is difficult not to become emotionally carried away. I did that yesterday with Dr. Hammesfahr's statements, and I now regret it. He is, at the least, a VERY controversial figure. We should simply be arguing that it is diabolical to starve Mrs. Schiavo regardless of how she got in this condition, or if she will ever recover.
