It's World Water Day!

A helpless woman is struggling for her life.
You're the only one who can save her.
Do you: a. Tread water;
b. Abandon her;
c. Try not to be seen breaking the law;
d. See if you can put the responsibility on someone else;
e. Go to mass on Sunday---looking wounded, grief-stricken and upright.

By showing that photo implies that you think the big, bad Florida government is out of control again.

Florida? BTW....Reno sent Federal Agents.....

The new standard is that if you are an inconvenience to a husband / wife due to brain damage you become disposable.

If anyone is getting divorced and it has not been finalized, stay very very healty.

Ok, so when do they get educated?

They were almost speechles for a while there on FNC about this interveiw.

Incredulous is a better word. They thought she was a nut job and were trying to maintain professional decorum.

My friend, is wisdom truly wasted on the old in this day and age? I am sadden over a society that sees no harm in starving a handicap person to death. I am sadden over a society that will not allow parents to care for their child but make them watch her painfully die. I am saddened that this same society feels that marriage is no more than ownership rights over the other. Isn't it interesting the Democrat Party's allegiance to Islam? I can no long distinguish the difference anymore....

Well, in my letters to my Congress Critter and Senators, I made the point that if we don't save Terri's life, we will end up being no better than Nazi Germany or Al Qaida and our status of being the moral and ethical fighter against these two will be in serious jeopardy.

I get a creepy feeling everytime I hear a network or a newspaper "report" on their "poll".

If we really had FULL disclosure, things would be very interesting. But that would require honesty, which has become a very scarce item.

Based upon testimony from both the Schindlers and Michael.

"that would have been jailed had he failed to send child support. He would have his paycheck garnished. His tax refund check would be intercepted..."

Elian's father was in Cuba--that was the whole reason people were upset he was returned (after all his mother died bringing him the U.S., iirc).

Do they really have laws like that in Cuba? They have tax refunds over there?

The motto on your homepage is, "Evil triumphs when good men do nothing."

And here you are, on this very thread, advocating that good men do nothing, so that evil can triumph under the misguided notion that "States Rights" trump the highest value in this land......LIFE.

Try some intellectual and moral consistency.

You have no knowledge regarding such cases.

Parents died to get their children out of east german tyrany. Their communist government demanded the child back on behalf of family.

The children were not returned.

People in cuba are slaves.
The boy was a slave.
The father IS a slave.
Clinton acted as if a fugitive slave law demanded the return of slave property.

As peggy noonan said, if Reagan were president he would not hesitate to say the boy stays free.

Human slavery ceased being recognized in the USA for some time now. The boy should have stayed not returned to slavery. Bottom line.

...if the Democrats want to play it that way, then we can undo the Federal law that mandates segregation in our schools.

Exactly. Bush can't order Congress or the Judiciary to do anything.

You are right about boycotting and you're not the only one who will boycott.

I'm a member of a group that holds a conference in Clearwater. We've been going there for years. Because of this we will not be going back. I called the Office of Tourism and told them this.

Office of Tourism, Trade and Economic Development
Pamella Dana, Director
Bo Taff, Deputy Director

I didn't have time to read all of the posts, so sorry if this is repetitive. I heard that Terri's doctor said she can eat on her own without the feeding tube. If this is the case and food is being withheld, we have a BIG problem.
