Did I hear correctly on FNC that family has not been allowed to visit since Sunday; and that last rites have been refused by husband/court?

Terri's family visited her yesterday. She received last rites just prior to her feeding tube being removed this time.

I had heard of the nurse through Newsmax. I had not heard of the insulin attempted murder.

Really? And how should they do that against the armed guards Mikey has around her.

I believe they tried that (I could me mistaken on this) and were told they had no standing.

Response: I freely admit that have no intimate first hand knowledge of this case, and perhaps I have not followed this story as closely as others may have. I'm not a lawyer, and I've never even played one on TV

However, based on the facts available via the media, I stand by my statement that there is a great deal wrong here, medically, legally and morally. Do not misunderstand, my heart aches for this woman, her family, and even the husband.

Since her husband has so clearly moved on with his life, and even taken a common law wife, I fail to understand why the legal team is not mounting a more vigorous attempt to have a family member appointed as guardian. They would then be free to take her home, to provide what treatment they consider best.

Of course, an action to appoint a guardian ad lietum, or whatever the heck it's called, is not as exciting as making new Constitutional law.

The bottom line--whether the parties will admit to it or not---is that the husband has a great deal of financial (and emotional) incentive to desire that Terri die. Her family wants to prevent him from collecting any insurance/trust/whatever monies arising out of her death.

Now, don't even get me started on the subject of the inappropriate use of hospice facilities....

You are jumping to conclusions that are not necessarily true.

Most American's would say yes if the person in question was completely unresponsive; most American's have been led to believe this is the case.

If I was not conscious of my surroundings, and being fed by a tube, only to keep my body alive, I too would not wish to exist in such a manner.

I do not know how aware Terri is to her surroundings, I pray she is not conscious.

I went through a similar situation with my brother. His was body was kept alive while his mind was dead, my brothers and I elected to remove the tube. If we saw any spark of life or behavior signifying consciousness we would never have done so.

If Terri is conscious and aware, this is a very bad decision. If she is not, than I feel that this is the right decision.

None of us know the reality of her condition, we've only seen pictures and read statements from both sides.

Most American's would not support the removal of the tube if they felt there was any spark of life and consciousness remaining. One also can conclude that most American's believe that she is unaware of what is happening to her given the court decisions and Doctor's testimonies that have been broad-casted. And in the end, most Americans would be outraged if they found out later that she was conscious and aware of what was happening to her.

1. After the injury, did she eat from a spoon?
2. Does she get regular pain killers for cramps?
3. Did she walk after the injury? When?
4. Did Michael say something like, "Why won't that b____ die?"
5. Was the doctor on Hannity yesterday credible?
6. How many judgments, by how many different judges has there been?
7. Did Michael move her from place to place whenever there was a chance (risk?) she'd be treated somewhere?
8. Can she communicate?
9. Does Michael have any book or movie deal?
10. Has the family ever expressed any religon-based motivation for keeping her alive?

Floridians re-elected Greer in November.

Floridians elected Sheriff Rice, who would not investigate Michael Schaivo, to office as their Representative.

Floridians re-elected numerous members of the Florida Supreme Court, knowing how judicially active they are.

Floridians re-elected Senator King, the person in charge of leading the calvary to pass a law, directed at Terri, to withhold food and water from the handicapped.

The list goes on, and so will boycotting the state.

Actually most judge predate Jeb Bush and George Bush.

We all know the snails pace of putting in G.Bush appointees.

As for state judges it is not common for a sitting judge to loose his seat.
