Lets see, first Michael Schiavo beats and strangles his wife Terri, leaves her lying unconscious on the floor until her family arrives to get her to the hospital.
Then Michael Schiavo sues the hospital for $20 million because he needs the money to get his poor wife therapy.
Then Michael Schiavo pockets the money, denies his wife the care he said she needed and finally, claims she really wants to die.
Michael Schiavo killed his wife Terri's cat, melted down her wedding ring and then took up with his girlfriend and lives with her today with their children. Does this sound like a loving husband who really cares about his wife's wishes?
And what do we get on the tube every hour on the hour: persistent vegetative state as though any of the talking heads who ghoulishly proclaim Terri's life isn't worth that of a convicted serial killer sitting on death row (for 20 years, while due process goes on).
Michael Schiavo's supporters claim he loved his wife Terri enough to take a nursing degree so that he could take care of her. I think he got that nursing degree so he could inject her with insulin and hasten her death and his complete claim to all the money he won in litigation.
Just take a gander at the sworn testimony of an attending nurse: Carla Sauer Iyer (affidavit* below) but let me save you some time and report a quote of Michael Schiavo's after visiting his still living wife: "When is that bitch gonna die?"
Hmmm. Loving husband or man so afraid of not only not getting the money (what's left of the $20 million) but the prospect of facing a jury for his attempted murder, a charge which is possible as long as Terri lives. Sounds like motive to me.
Michael Schiavo says Terri said she never wanted to be kept alive on machines. Okay. Even if that was her statement (which there is absolutely no corroborating testimony and quite the unusual statement coming from a young, newly married woman still in her twenties and full of life); Terri is not being kept alive by machines!
Terri has a feeding tube from which she gets food and water. Had she had the care and therapy she was entitled to, there is every chance today Terri would be divorced from that louse and feeding herself just fine.
About that loving husband crapola: what husband do you know evinces his marital fidelity and love by living with another woman, having children with that woman and dumps his wife in a hospice while waiting for her to die? What loving husband kills his sick wife's pet? What loving husband denies his wife's family visitation?
I ask these questions because the media morons are still stuck with their new term: persistent vegetative state and are oblivious to the actual facts of this tragic case.

Well, it depends on what you mean by "life support" because strictly speaking, ANYTHING that is artificial that supports life can be considered "life support." This then will include a feeding tube.
To avoid confusion, I used the term "artificial treatment" since humans weren't able to keep people alive by implanting a tube directly into a patient's stomach before the past few decades.
The difference, obviously, is between an active action of killing someone or the passive action of letting nature take it's course by ceasing artificial support.
Scott Peterson wishes he were that intelligent.
Thanks. I didn't know Michael had called Mr. Schindler and described Terri as being dead. How about that?
show me evidence that medical malpractice occured instead.in civil court all that is needed is to convince 12 jurors who need not have any medical or scientific background and since educated people get off we have a jury system that is a joke.
Actually, I think before I type or speak.
Indeed, it was your post that freaked out and frothed about how I was disrespecting your niece, all handicapped, yap yap yap.
Whatever.
The would have talked......

Here's just parts of it.
What the Judge ignores in this case is that Terri's husband is separated from her. Michael Schiavo took up residence with his current girlfriend 10 years ago and has fathered two children with her. In most states, his cohabitation and reproduction with another woman would be ample evidence that the couple were legally separated. Such a finding would bar him from access to any of her funds or funds for her benefit, and would certainly preclude any competent tribunal from allowing him to serve as her legal guardian.
There are more than a few other issues that have been ignored by the Florida courts. From the information available today, there appears to be sufficient evidence to draw a conclusion that Terri's condition was not caused by heart failure. The Evidence of Foul Play Ignored by the Court
The conventional wisdom in the case of Terri Schiavo is that a potassium deficiency brought on by an eating disorder caused her heart to stop for several minutes, causing the brain damage that has led to her condition today.
However, there is no evidence of a heart attack. Dr. William Hammesfahr, a neurologist of world renown, examined Terri in 2002 and wrote a comprehensive report on her condition Complete Report of Dr. William Hammesfahr. Among Dr. Hammesfahr's conclusions were:
1. That Terri's heart, EKG's and blood chemistry showed no evidence of a heart attack;
2. A low potassium level would have caused damage to her heart
3. Terri is not in a coma;
4. Terri's neck was rigid indicating unusual trauma to the neck.
With respect to rigidity in the neck, Dr. Hammesfahr noted that he had viewed the same type of injury once before - in a strangulation victim. He also noted that the L-1 injury to Terri's spine was consistent with injuries sustained as a result of being thrown against a table.
Dr. Michael Baden, a world renowned pathologist, has also weighed in with serious concerns about the cause of Terri Schiavo's condition. Dr. Baden had the opportunity to review a bone scan performed on Terri in 1991. Based on his observations, Dr. Baden noted that: 1. It is extremely unlikely that a low potassium level would cause a healthy young woman's heart to start beating. Again, Dr. Hammesfahr ruled out the occurrence of a heart attack; 2. Terri had sustained a serious head injury, the type and degree of which could cause a vegetative state; 3. Terri also suffered from other bone injuries; 4. The type of head injury that Terri sustained was the result of a severe trauma, such as an automobile accident or a beating. As Dr. Hammesfahr observed, Terri is able to swallow. In fact, one of her caregiver's has sworn under oath that she fed Terri on several occasions. Removing a feeding tube is one thing; not attempting to give Terri food or water when she is capable of ingesting both without the aid of a feeding tube is quite another. This information points to the possibility that Terri's condition was the result of the act of a third party, and that
These questions and concerns should be addressed before they start to starve Terri to death based on Michaels hearsay. You do not agree, to make sure of no mistake before a life being taken?
It's interesting to me that the judge and MS want to cremate Terri - she was/is a practicing Catholic, and, as far as I know, cremation is something the Church only agrees w under very limited circumstances and this wouldn't be one of them. It's also my understanding that MS was a practicing Catholic when they were wed (of course, IMHO he's been acting anything but christian-like).
One other point - the witch from FL said this a.m. on Fox & Friends (and I believe last night on the floor) that Terri didn't have any bedsores. How does she know that?? MS hasn't allowed her to be moved or to have any medical care, and, when a person lays in one place like that they develop bed sores. I've heard that she did in fact have them (which would make sense given her situation). There are special nurses that deal w these type of wounds and the nursing homes ususally call them in (most hospitals have them on staff).
well put
Thank you for your kind words.
I'm just having a very difficult time plodding through the claims and counter-claims of this sad situation. The more I examine it; the more I side with Michael and this wasn't my intention when I first srated following it.

Quite possibly because they were trying to work it out when she became ill?
Technically, yes, the vows have been broken and adultery committed. In traditional (pre-lib, pre-1960s) law, a divorce would have been granted at the drop of a hat, with possible criminal prosecution of the adulterer. This seems to be quite a raw nerve for you, got something you're not telling us?
Precisely. It's not in writing. It should have been put in writing. It's Hearsay. You don't know for certain either.
First off, what Michael is doing now has no bearing on the case. Florida doesn't recognize common-law. Therefore, they are still married.
Do you have a link for that report?
IF, and I say IF that is a valid report, then it merits investigation.
