Thank you for the post and the ping. I don't know how far Terri can recover, but for me, as long as she is comfortable and lovingly taken care of, that's fine. A human being isn't less of a human being because s/he isn't working or going to school or mowing the lawn. Each of us has inate human dignity. None of us should be starved and dehydrated when someone else decides we are less than fully human - this is especially egregious since we legally cannot do that to our own pets. I don't think anyone with a modicum of intelligence thinks or believes Terri ever intimated she wanted to be starved to death if she ever became incapacitated. Particularly since no one heard a thing about it until seven years after her initial injury... just after the money came in... coincidentally.

Anyhow as to the larger agenda... I believe you are sadly correct. Felos is a huge euthanasia proponant and this case has national stature. My 16 year old daughter wondered how MS was paying for all the attorneys... and I told her that I believe he was being financed by the elite euthanasia crowd, all you have to do is use common sense and connect the dots. MS is just a useful puppet, just like the Roe v. Wade ladies.

My grandparents were Dems. My parents used to vote Dem. My mother has stated she is glad her parents are not alive to see the party as it is today, and that was before terri. You missed absolutely nothing from RINO Shays, except he hinted that he's far more of a RAT than I had feared. He's the only "Republican" I've heard tonight whose words really ticked me off... Will be interesting to see how he votes on this bill.
