He's the legal guardian. He doesn't have to give a reason. I just assume it's spite, because denying a parent the ability to be with their child in the days/moments before the child dies is just, well, selfish or something. I understand that he and the Schindlers have an intense dislike for one another, but some things should transcend that natural tendency to be spiteful.
They unjustly accused him of domestic violence and just now Terri's brother just stated he's abandoned her. Maybe its just too difficult for him to rise above accusations such as those.

Hahahahah. This is Flordia. The courts are expert at parsing the law. All the way up to to FLorida Supreme Court went the clear as day election statutes, and they boluxed that one.

Do you think it's okay for those of us who are arguing the LAW in the United States of America to be called murderers today?
I have to say this: there doesn't seem to be much room for dissent on these threads. Some of you who have been involved with these threads a lot longer than some of us seem to believe that you have all the facts and that even questioning them is akin to slander of the Schindlers.
And what IF people have different opinions than the rest of you? Aren't they allowed to discuss them?
Do you have any idea how many people are NOT posting to these threads because they don't wanted to be called murderers, even when that's not their position?
I'm coming down on the side of the Constitution. If the Constitution is trashed because of what Congress is engaging itself in to, after all is said and done, I will be the first one to say "See, I told you so".

Not really sure what you mean, since the tube was inserted 5 years previous to this, but I take it if someone called you up and said that, you may have acted on it or at least remembered it, this being two years after you attempted to have him removed as guardian for the first time.
Well I guess I'm just too human... I can understand why he doesn't want to have anything to do with them myself.
Just curious, but does anyone know if Terri was on Lasix before her accident. That could explain her extremely low potassium level.

(b) To have continuing review of the need for restriction of his or her rights.
(c) To be restored to capacity at the earliest possible time.
(d) To be treated humanely, with dignity and respect, and to be protected against abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
(e) To have a qualified guardian.
(f) To remain as independent as possible, including having his or her preference as to place and standard of living honored, either as he or she expressed or demonstrated his or her preference prior to the determination of his or her incapacity or as he or she currently expresses his or her preference, insofar as such request is reasonable.
(g) To be properly educated.
(h) To receive prudent financial management for his or her property and to be informed how his or her property is being managed, if he or she has lost the right to manage property.
(i) To receive necessary services and rehabilitation.
(j) To be free from discrimination because of his or her incapacity.
(k) To have access to the courts.
(l) To counsel.
(m) To receive visitors and communicate with others.
