I'm coming down on the side of the Constitution. If the Constitution is trashed because of what Congress is engaging itself in to, after all is said and done, I will be the first one to say "See, I told you so".
The Constitution states that Terry has rights
My understanding of the Congress Bill .. it does not take your right away if you state in writing or say a video tape that you don't want to continue life with a feeding tube
What I understand, it states is that if there is no record of your wishes, then you have a right to have your case in a Federal Court
It doesn't state that the Fed Court HAS to hear your case .. just that they may hear your case
Well, the way it is looking-It appears that if you believe that all people( United States citizens) have a Constitutional right to representation in court then I don't think you will have a problem.
