Michael Schiavo and his supporters are utterly lacking in basic human compassion.
This state judge has NO right nor authority to tell the Federal government whom they may and may not call as witnesses, whom they may and may not subpoena. This arrogant judge must be held in contempt of Congress and locked up for it.
The most basic right there is is the right to life. Without that your other rights don't do you much good. We must protect life. If the state won't do it, the Federal government must.
I heard an interview this afternoon with a woman who came out of a PVS. A few weeks ago, Sarah Scantlin came out of a similar state, too. If Terri could get some therapy, she might have a chance to come out of it. But her so-called husband will not allow that. (Nor will he allow her last rites.) Why not? What is he afraid of?

And under Federal law, if a person is under Federal subpoena, it is illegal to do anything to cause them harm. Therefore, the judge is in violation of Federal law. So is Michael, her so-called husband.

Now it will be easier for a court to order a death, Felos has fanagled it so that it's not the guardian's choice.
It is going to be heck to be disabled or elderly in Florida if the Legislature or Congress doesn't correct this problem.
I read an article this past week that some hospices may 'not' admit you if you have a feeding tube, so they are already discouraging feeding tubes. I believe this is why they were so adamant about removing Terri's tube instead of just capping it and not feeding her.
