I don't think he was saying that - he was pointing out that what they are doing to Terri is crueler than what we'd do to a dog.

They also cannot 'humanely' euthanize her (yet) because she has not committed a crime. We treat criminals better than Terri too.

He is her husband's lawyer. Her husband claims that she told him that she wanted to die. Of course with Terri unable to say anything he could make up anything he wanted. Until they whip a recording or a document with her signature out of their butts they have no business saying anything about her intentions.

I haven't followed this case. What is the reason her husband is trying to kill her and how did she get into this condition.

Schiavo's scumbag lawyer Felos(sp) was just on the radio telling people to call their representatives to insist that Terri Schiavo be starved to death without interference from meddling politicians. It's hard to believe this is happening.

From what I have observed, Republicans up and down the slate have monolithicly worked attempting to legally save Terri from starvation. They have worked within our legal and judicial system, and I desire that they continue to do so.

Democrats have been spotty: some have been on Terri's side, and some haven't.

I hope Terri's life can be restored into her parent's custody, but there is no sense in getting crazy about the failure of the Republicans, when there is more cause to be upset about the Democrats and their Pro-Death crowd.

That is why they were careful to subpoena Terri herself. Doing anything to her is tampering with a Federal witness (i.e. a major Felony). Congress should have the legal authority at this point to restore her to her previous state and even charge the people to pulled the tube with a Federal crime.
