Yeah -- Bonnie told lots of people that Blake wanted to kill her.... which means that any one of those people who wanted her dead would know that if they did it, Blake gets the blame. Did she only tell friends and family, or just anyone at all, including many enemies? The fact that she told people Blake wanted to kill her doesn't make it true .... I think it has been established that she had a long history of lying about men in her life.

Good points. But regardless of where everyone stands on the Blake case, I think we can all agree that his dead wife was an abominable person, she ran countless scams by sending out naked pictures of herself to lonely men who foolishly responded by sending her money, she was totally fixated on 'going Hollywood' if not by her own talents, by latching on to some Hollywood icon, either from the past, present or future. It isn't up to anyone to say whether or not she 'deserved' to die, but can anyone deny that considering her amoral lifestyle, selling sex via the U.S. Mail, one con game after another, that she didn't reap what she sowed? There are instances where cosmic karma seems to kick in, and I think this is one of them. Did Blake want her dead? Probably. Did he do it or arrange for it to be done?

The jury said "no evidence", and they acquitted him. If perchance he DID do it, he'll ultimately face God as we ALL will one day.

Everyone has been on edge in this thread, I'm no exception. I apologize to any and all if my words have been too harsh. We're all FReepers. Thank God we're in a Country where we can associate this way without fear and with total freedom to express our opinions.

Rant mode off.

Regards,

MM

Why else were you following the trial closely enough to know how flimsy the evidence was? You a student of the law?
The nasty attitudes have really come out of the woodwork this evening! I didn't "follow the trial." I just have Fox News on for a couple of hours every evening after I get home from work. Izzat OK with you? Why don't you tell us how knowing about "flimsy evidence" is related to being "a student of the law"?

There are many tapes of Bonnie telling her friends and family that Blake was trying to kill her, and somehow when Blake leaves her on the street for 10 minutes she is blown away.

Gosh, maybe it was Prince Charles what done it.

I'm sure anyone who might have a family member who is mentally retarded really appreciates you two mocking those who, there but for the Grace of God, go you.
LOL! Pomposity and feigned moral superiority make me laugh too!

No, I think she will be raised by her Dad, just as he has been doing for the last 4+ years.

Like I said, she will be raised by a murderer. Just as Simpson's children were, and look at what they've been through. So sad.

Bonnie Blakely was not your model citizen, but she did not deserved to be murdered, "In Cold Blood", so to speak. Just another example of money and power in Hollywood buying "justice".,

I called this one, I knew Blake would be acquitted, and look for Jackson to be next.

I'm SO glad I live in BFE, OHIO.

Feigned?!?

I got a 'B+' in moral superiority, I attended Canadian schools for one semester while I was in high school.

We will send you a censorship ticket to your address where you live.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha . . . . . someday that may be true?

I am glad he was found NOT GUILTY. Maybe now the MSNM will keep their damn noses out of everyone's business. Do we really need to hear everyday for more than a year Blake's trial? Come on! Enough is enough!

The best friend of Bonnie Bakely was likely as scummy as she was to call such a vile creature "friend." She was just an exploiter, too, as proved by the interview.

Sounds like you know her personally.

I look forward to seeing the "hybrid" one spend the rest his life in jail.

But this case is not similar to the Oswald John Simpson one.

Fair synopsis, it seems.

I didn't follow the case all that closely, but I do recall that the evidence seemed pretty light. Apparently the jury thought so too.

Like it or not, that *is* justice. In order to be found guilty of a crime there has to be a jury of ones peers that thinks there is enough evidence to put you away. Its this system that protects all of us.

Sometimes people get away with crimes. Justice, sometimes, will demand that this happen in order to make it harder to put away innocent people. That's part of the price of justice.

Be that as it may... I just can't find in myself any outrage over this one. I honestly don't have a strong opinion over whether he really did it or not. He's the most likely suspect, but it seems that this woman had plenty of likely suspects in her life. The bottom line remains that there wasn't enough evidence to convince the jury. So be it.

According to reports that appeared on ABC's Good Morning, America when the story finally broke about the important discovery, the gun had three bullets in it, two of which, the police determined, that had been fired. One bullet was still in the chamber. It was also reported that the police had seized a box of ammunition, Remington Peters, a very common brand and which was the same brand found in the gun, during their initial search of Blake's home. Three bullets were missing from the box of ammunition taken from Blake's home

It was reports smelling like that that made me doubt Blake's guilt all along.

"Three bullets were missing from the box of ammunition taken from Blake's home"

Ignoring the brand mismatch, just three? he plans to kill his wife and loads just three rounds into the gun, very frugal. Or he unloaded the ectra rounds after the shooting, concealed them during the police search and later returned them to the box?

Or given the the source os the press story is probably not a thousand miles from the DA's office, someöne is tring to create the image, three rounds killed Blakley, three rounds missing from the box - coincidence in numbers proves they must be the same three rounds - pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

I am shocked he did not get a conviction for solicitation of murder with several people testifying he asked them to kill his wife.

Not me it is LA and he has money and is a celebrity..yes I know he is a has been, but still.

Yep it's only non-celebrities that get convicted on the word of police snitches with a history of drug use, mental probems and criminal records. It's Unfair - but what ya gonna do?

"And another murderer set free-----hooray for Hollywood!"

My sentiments exactly. Interesting isn't it that both the Blake & Peterson murder cases were based on circumstantial evidence. No DNA, no weapon, no nothing. Yet Peterson was found guilty and Blake not guilty.

Blake appeared to be crying, but I didn't see one tear rolling down his face. At least he hasn't lost his acting skills. He was shaking quite a bit, and at one point he took something out of his pocket and popped it into his mouth. I wondered at the time if it wasn't Nitro.
