I'd start looking for a motive from one of the folks who said he was trying to hire someone to bump her off....Apparently the jury thought he'd been set up.I'd close the case.

Whatever the verdict, I really felt sorry for the guy all the way. I think his love for that kid directed his actions -- whatever they may have been.

The 11-1 deadlock was for Not Guilty, too. Judge just brought jury back and asked on the record.
That really is the end of this case, then.
Judge giving final words to jury and is about to dismiss them.
