Cantwell amendment HAS NOT PASSED THE SENATE!
"9 trillion"
you mean 9 billion.
"My problem is the Fed's should not own Alaska and or have the right to say if private business can work there. That is pure fascism."
This is Government land and as such can not be used by private business unless authorized.
I guess you think Alaska should be returned to Russia.
A lot of people were against Stewards' folly, using American money to buy Alaska.
Did you heasr him on the tube DSunday..saying that W doesn't have a mandate...
"Jethro"
(slaps forehead) I KNEW that! LOL
This count says some RINOs voted FOR it.

"Good point. now seems as good a time as any. I want my gas under $1.40 a gallon again sometime before the next presidential electin."
That's a nice but kinda wishful thought; I'd be pretty satisfied with the effort if we can stabilize the price and not have it take off.
Besides, every barrel pumped at home is a bird thrown in the direction of the House of Saud.
Are you confusing this with the National Petroleum Reserves?

Welcome to the United States of America, home of democratic party socialism.
Chevron pumps California bbls into Arizona at an excellent margin. They made it abundantly clear that they could supply bbls via pipeline below Pennzoil's cost into the market if the refinery came on line. They demonstrated this by slashing their price for 10 days to prove their point. Pennz got the message.
