Congratulations! I say pick a name your wife and you like and will be happy with for a long time.
What's your source? The Handbook of Texas Online's bio for Ima Hogg lists three brothers by name and birthdate, but no mention of any sisters.

Another source debunking the myth that Ura Hogg existed:

A Texas historian confirms (last sentence):

(congrats)
That had to be a struggle! Kathleen is very nice.
congrats!
Margaret Caroline and Lillie Ann
My daughter is named the "Maggie" one. Maggie and Lillie...hmm...maybe I should look to adopt a little girl.
As per naming, just a few caveats I've gathered on the way. I have a number of friends who are twins, curiously enough. No matching names like Jean and Jane (really variations on the same name). Check the initials to make sure they don't spell things that will guarantee teasing for years to come. And check the overall sound of the name. 'Wear' it for a week or so (prior to their birth). I have had a number of students whose names are awkward sounding or sound like other words. Most notably - one poor boy's full name, when said together quickly, sounded like the word 'awful'. Most of all, enjoy your girls, they grow up so quickly!
Freep and ReFreep.
yes Jerry Spring is still on! Can't imagine why anyone would watch it anymore though. The freak show element of it was funny at first, but now it's just old and tired and pathetic.
The name "Misty" on the stripper list amused me, because the only Misty I've ever known was a high school classmate of mine. We were co-presidents of the school pro-life club, and later on Misty left college (she was about 21) to become a cloistered nun! I wonder if they call her "Sister Misty" now?
I will offer my name: Leah, it means child of the meadow, and my daughter's name, Gwyneth which means happiness, felicity. Leah has been in our family for generations, pretty cool, I think.
Anything but Hillary.
"You know, I'm going to start thanking
the woman who cleans the restroom in
the building I work in. I'm going to start
thinking of her as a human being"
Altho, Emily goes my Emma. . and Amanda if you call her Mandy, will scream "MY NAME IS NOT MANDY!"
*shrugs*
Just nothing matching, and don't name the 2nd born with an "A" name if you want your insurance company to understand that you have twins. Amanda was "baby b" but all her records were printed "A. Morgan" -- well Emily was baby A . . .
Took our insurance company nearly 3 months to figure out I had had twins. *laughs* I'm truly not kidding, somewhere around here I have a file of paperwork that says "already submitted and paid" but it's not for the correct child.
*grins*
I wub my twins :)
LOL!
LOL!! Your post up above about the stripper names are so funny. My husband had these two friends when we were first dating and these two guys practically lived at the local strip clubs. There was always a stripper named Exotica at every club they went to- different girl, same name. That cracked me up.
Then, another guy they knew started to date one of the stippers and her name- Raven. She actually went by Raven in her every day life, too, but I don't believe she had actually changed it legally.
Double trouble. hehehe, what ONE doesn't think of doing, the OTHER WILL! But it IS a blast!
Our twins are named Auralee and Annice. Lots of people INSISTED that I rename the first twin...Anephew.
LOL!
Not the first simile that comes to mind, considering...
