Coast to Coast AM ^ | 3/14/05 | Jim Berkland

Posted on 03/14/2005 10:23:14 AM PST by BurbankKarl

In case you missed the show last night, Jim Berkland made a prediction of a 6+ earthquake to occur in either Southern Nevada or Southern California during June, July, or August of this year, as these months have particularly high tide periods.

He also said to pay particular close attention to July 21 due to the full moon.

You may want to pay attention to Berkland. He seems to be the real deal. At least closer than anyone else in his predictions.

"Wow thanks for checking. Wonder what that was..."

I don't know, but if it was an earthquake, it would show up on the map...they're very good with earthquakes.

"That's like predicting rain in Seattle."

This year that WOULD be quite the trick.

Yeah, I did half-hear that, sleeping with the radio on. WABC (NYC area) has a killer lineup, but I just don't know what to make of Coast to Coast.

For the other old fogies out there, WOR has a "Big Bands, Ballads nd Blues" show Sat nite/Sun AM, Midnight to 3. Sounds like it's syndicated, so maybe other insomniacs will be able to catch it. :)

I know where KRLA is! They are right down the street.

I now work out of three offices, so I have been tuning in online out of two of the offices.....I hate dragging my radio around.

"Jim Berkland made a prediction of a 6+ earthquake to occur in either Southern Nevada or Southern California during June, July, or August of this year"

Well, that certainly narrows it down!

Sheez!

From your chart, it looks like there's one on average every 4 years, with a standard deviation of +/- 2.8 years. It's been six years since the last one, so just from a statistical standpoint, there's like a 60% chance there should be one this year. He's not exactly going out on a limb.

"Why is the image backwards?"

It's from Ward Churchill. He's good at that.
