Prayers needed for Onyx and her husband

Onyx's husband fell thru a glass door and severed an artery in his arm this morning. He almost bled to death while waiting for 911 to come, but they made it.

They've been at the hospital since noon, with him in and out of surgery. They are back in surgery now, with 3 surgeons trying to repair a lot of torn and severed veins and archeries. He's lost a lot of blood, they've given him 6 pints so far.

It's very complicated, but those are the basics.

Did you see later in the thread how the doctors said he happened to have a second artery running through the same place, and if there hadn't been two, he would not have survived?

This miracle has been a longtime coming.

I didn't read through the whole thread, but that's amazing. I remember someone breaking a glass bowl at work (the old job in Bloomingdale's) and severed an artery. Blood was shooting across the hallway :(

The good Doctor (Mr. Onyx) is a very loving, giving man. I'm glad I only found out about all this after the fact (as it happened), because I would have been a wreck if I had known at the time.
