This is a breaking news situation.
A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.
The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.
I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.

Yes, it appears some very shoddy handling of this guy. He acted so quickly, his aim was obviously (and very unfortunatley) good, able to pistol whip the court reporter, and still get out of the courtroom and to the parking area. From the 8th floor of the courthouse! A big investigation will follow.
Evidently something like this has happened before. Lots of talk about prior notices to deputies about keeping their guns out of reach of suspects. There is going to be a big investigation and scandal. What a shame, lives lost before they knuckle down.

I would not do my job if I thought I put anyone at risk but fact is I can outwrestle, outcarry and outshoot almost everyone I know. That is what growing up with brothers does.
To: Protect the Bill of Rights
That is for sure. They just woke up today and thought it would be a day like any other.

I saw the clip and it seemed the auto collapse on the gurney was stuck.

Now on FOX same thing happened in old courthouse 10 years ago.
That is chilling. They should have improved security after the LAST incident.

Unless he stole a Glock 17, then he's got 12 shots left.

Supposedly five shots fired, per eye witness. Doesn't that mean he'll be out of ammo after another shot?
I think they use Glocks.

"Sicko"?? Me?? After what and how you've been posting on here? Man, that'd be funny if you weren't probably really on the streets. Hey, read all the messages you've been getting on here this morning. Then think: if three people tell you you're a horse, maybe you're a horse.

No Bail? I guess that means they thought he was a flight risk. Makes you wonder even more why he wasn't in restraints.

On my rare visits to Atlanta from our dirt road in Alabama, we'd marvel at the speeds being traveled. It's possible we just hit it on a good day. I'd be doing 70 and folks were passing me like I was parked on the side of the road. Even my children quieted down without having to be told. It's hard to be noisy when you are softly sobbing in terror.

She was also yelling at someone and throwing the victim's arm back on the gurney. She was not helping at all if the victim was in the least coherent. Not only making the matter worse but also causing the patient to become unstable at the way she was handling him. He needed calm not the "helper" to cause panic.
