Thank You Dave!
To you too Tulip!
Yes it does work, some are receptive and a few are not.
Tough Love...
Tough love, exactly. God has used it since the beginning! If it is good enough for Him, it should be good enough for the likes of us.
Speaking of "Tough Love" brings me to news from my daughter this past hour!
She and Bill now reside in sorry - clinton SC, where Bill is a District Manager for Waffle House, and Jennifer who used to be a Manager, is now the Trainer for the Region for them.
Tied in with their church and the Waffle House Affinity Program footing the bills, they are going to feed 500 breakfast this coming weekend!
It is officially Bikers' Weekend, with two former rival gangs holding a concert outdoors at Lake Greenwood, drawing thousands.
The gangs are now both part of Bikers for Christ, and out to motivate the younger gnerations, with music and speakers with their experiences from terrible pasts; now saved and hopeful and productive.
GOD AT WORK, FOLKS!!
Isn't it awesome??
Lady--God is always Awesome! He uses whatever means that is available to get His message out! Sounds like your daughter and hubby are gonna be reeeely busy this weekend!
Thy suuuurely won't be "bored"..:))
lol
The two gangs once upon a time used to be out to annihilate one another, but now have been recruited into God's Gang, spreading His Words!!
That is just a lot of bikes in one place. Good thing they have turned to God--the fights could have been a real scary possiblity!
It sure is.
It's wonderful when your children are tuned into Our Living God Among Us - not some distant "imagined entity" ---
How reassuring it is when they know Him in a comfortable, close way, and joyously praise and worship Him!
Amen..
My kids are very comfortable about Praying, Parents have taught them well.
Great to hear about your daughter and SIL, Auntie M.
Drive-by greeting tonight before I sit down to watch Billy Graham on our local channel. Taped broadcast from Los Angeles Crusade. Michael W. Smith, Gaither Vocal Band, Joni Erickson Tada and of course Billy. Another "This Side of Heaven" preview for what's in store...
Amen! Great picture.
Yeah, but I have to work that day too. :o)
Wow! That sounds like God at work to me. How's my Sistah?
