It must be extraordinarily maddening to be so smart and to watch helplessly as epochal events occur during or right after the watches of dunces and idiots, and to see these people given credit by some for these events.

I really hope the Hollyweird leftists know that Sajak is saying this about them.

The left is too stupid to get it. Someone on the right will have to explain it to them.

Good piece, with an excellent closing line. The Lib-Dems still do not have a clue. The MSM still doesn't have a clue. The Dems are hanging their hat on the candidacy of Hillary! who on most issues is moving hard to the right.

The main opponent that Hillary! faces, is Hillary! I count on the blogosphere to dredge up all of Hillary!'s positions before now (especially when Billyjeff was infesting the White House). Can the new Hillary! be defeated by the old Hillary! Maybe she will only be mortally wounded in the process of running against herself, and snatching the nomination.

We have our work cut out for ourselves.

the left never seems to realize:
1. simplicity does not equate to stupidity
2. complexity does not equate to elegance

Too bad "Wheel of Fortune" is a game show, I'd love to hear more of Pat Sajak's commentaries. Too bad his own show was such a dud or was it just that the nation wasn't ready for it?

Great post; Sajak's uncomplicated analysis was a welcome surprise to me. Made his website a favorite so I can read the archives.

Am beginning to think the left is so impervious to the obvious because they have had their minds drummed out of them since kindergarten. We on the right only kept our minds because we were too dumb to understand what the teachers were trying to do to us.

Thanks, Wagglebee, for opening one more door.

It's so refreshing to note that someone in the intertainment industry has half a clue. From what I've observed, Pat has far more than half a clue. Nice read. Kudos to Sajak.

Maybe we’ll be lucky and find another Dunce.

I once read a speech presented by Pat Sajak. I read it because I was curious and I was pleased I had taken the time to read it. That speech is the reason I stopped to read this article and again I am pleased I did. I am not saying that Pat Sajak is another Thomas Sowell but I am saying that Pat sounds like someone who has his head on straight and an opinion worth hearing about.

Liberals don`t like it when communism, terrorism, tyranny are called bad names because those are the things that they worship. And if anyone doesn`t believe that, just look at the amount of protests against Bush as compared to Al-Qaeda and Saddam. Saddam in February of 2003 was given the biggest parade of people in Europes history. Of course they called it a "record breaking protest" but in reality it was a record breaking display of support for a psychotic tyrant. Just think if they showed support for the US or even the UN instead, Saddam might have stepped down which is what he was hinting at at the time. Of course right after this huge love fest for him, he immediately denied all rumours of stepping down.

This country cannot afford another leader like Clinton or Carter. God spare us from "nuanced" leaders, who are too complex to have any moral standing of their own, and always willing to have the intellectual elites on the NY Times and Wash Post, and interminable polls, provide direction.
