The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

U.S. works 'day and night' to rein in al-Qaida
Full Story

WASHINGTON - Prompted by new intelligence indicating Osama bin Laden reached out to the most feared terrorist in Iraq, President Bush charged Thursday that "al-Qaida still hopes to attack us on our own soil."

"Recently, we learned that Osama bin Laden has urged the terrorist Zarqawi to form a group to conduct attacks outside Iraq, including here in the United States," Bush said at the swearing-in of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff.

The president vowed, "We're working every day and night to dismantle (bin Laden's) network and to bring him to justice."

Have a safe trip and hurry back!

I'm back in Pokey now. The conference went fine. The commuter airlines are a different story. My new suitcase containing my best suit, new shoes and conference proceedings didn't make it home. I saw it on the plane in Pueblo, CO, but it wasn't present at Pocatello when I arrived. I'm sure it will be found in next few hours. Just another inconvenient part of traveling. I flew 3 legs mixed over SkyWest, United and Mesa Airlines.

I live in the heart of Jihadiville in a major US city that's had a number of high profile muslim terror arrests, including AQ members.

In the course of my travels I've had an opportunity to observe them at length.

Almost without exception, the jihadis including the women have a cell phone bolted to their ear. The amount of airtime they both use would put any popular teenage girl to shame.

Vehicular GPS is common too - The cab drivers (#1 jihadi occupation here) use it as do the women in their "soccer mom" vans. There's nothing like seeing a black woman in a full jet black 7th century burkha - with literally nothing but the whites of her eyes showing - driving next to you in her GPS and cell-equipped mini van with tinted windows giving you that soulless dead-eye look that we've seen so frequently on their videos. Very frightening.

Men and women both regularly use free internet services to do their jihadi communications. Remember the stink the liberals raised about Ashcroft's desire to monitor library materials? Well that hasn't been lost on the jihadis who regularly use free internet at libraries to conduct "business." The library only hires liberals who bend over backwards to help them destroy us.

There are other more sophistictaed methods they use to communicate over the internet (mobile, free, anonymous) that I won't detail here, but suffice it to say everyone of them knows what to do.

Sorry for the rant, I guess it's just my way of saying yes, you're right, they do use high tech including the internet extensively and intelligently.

Indie was banned for speaking out on the immigration threads. It's been happening quite a bit. FReeper Broadsword has also been banned.

Hi folks. Checking in. Got distracted with a very intense discussion on islam on another thread.

I would like to echo bored at work's comments about TM. This is my favorite place on the net.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "BEIRUT, Lebanon — A car bomb rocked a predominantly Christian neighborhood in northern Beirut (search) early Saturday, destroying part of a building and wounding at least seven people, police said.

The explosive left a seven-foot-deep crater in the roadway and shattered windows for several blocks in the New Jdeideh (search) neighborhood.

Underage border crossers targeted this weekend

They will be looking for people under 18 attempting to cross into Mexico without a parent, guardian or notarized letter authorizing them to travel across the border, said San Diego police Sgt. Wes Albers.

Assuredly these youngsters are bound to be the most dangerous threat to America and Americans? Send them back and they will just do it again and again and again. Especially after the age emphasis patrols have stopped.

Mexican lawmakers propose migration rules

The proposal also says that to guarantee that the migrants return to Mexico, they would pay border migration offices on the border a fee of $2,500 before reentering the United States.

Certain to be well accepted by the thousands of poor immigrants who feed off US social programs and who bankrupt our hospitals....(7,500 of whom will be coming up to South Carolina to work soon).
