A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay or a profile of another FReeper.

Welcome to TGIF at the Finest!   We hope you've been having as much fun as we have with our essays and/or spotlight on various FReepers. From the beginning, we've been kicking back on Saturdays and Sundays and simply reviewing the features of the week; starting today our weekends will begin on Friday. If you missed seeing any of this week's threads and want to say hello there now, just click on the link for that particular day. If you'd like to drop in and out of this thread today through Sunday, please feel free to do that also. 2) Once there you can click on any month and even click to the right to go into next year. Once you are in the month that you joined FR you will need to click on the number in the calendar and then an add item screen will come up.
3) In the next box enter your name in the "Calendar Text" field and then click on submit.
4) If any of the screens fail to load simply click on refresh in your browser and that will usually fix it.

Yes. "Forgotten" was a strange one, but good. I loved the other one, "Let's Dance", even if it did have Richard Gere and Susan SaRATson in it. I liked it because it actually glorified marriage. I haven't watched "Troy" yet. I will watch it today and bring it to you tomorrow night. Not due til Fri.

I have three other goats. Rabbits, four new baby bunnies born Thursday night. A crazy cat in the house. A black lab puppy, he is only 6 weeks old. Three ducks, and a couple of cows. A sugar glider(which is a flying squirrel)and I am sitting a parrot for my sister right now. This parrot is funny but sometimes he talks to much...

Good morning to the Finest! Lori, thank you again for posting our weekend thread each of the first weekends of the month. Love the calendars you add, and I'm not sure everyone notices since the opening post for TGIF is always the same. But I do, and appreciate it!

Its_me_K.E.T, will pray for your son, and for your family. It has to be the hardest thing to send your son or daughter, or other loved one, off to war. Thank you and a huge thanks and prayers for all of those who are serving this great country of ours.

LOL...that's a really managerie you have there. I love animals too. Sounds like fun around your house!

I had a yellow lab for several years. Smart as a whip and the most affectionate, loyal dog. They are my favorite breed, along with Doxies and Silkies (and Chihuahuas and Pomeranians), of course. (That covers every dog I ever had....they were all my favorites, but labs top the list.) :-)

Good morning, Billie. Thank you for reminding me that this is the first TGIF of the month. I would have forgotten. :-(

BTW, my welcome graphic isn't showing up for me or for some others. I uploaded it to ImageShack, a free server that I am trying out....correction, WAS trying out. It just isn't reliable. The graphic showed up fine yesterday, then it disappeared. I can't overwrite the file, so I guess it will just have to remain a red X. Goes to show, you get what you pay for.

Now the graphics stored at ImageShack are showing up again. Don't know what's up with that. I won't use them anymore though. I'd rather pay for a reliable server than not know whether my images are going to show up or not from one minute to the next. I thought maybe I could save some space on my other servers and use ImageShack, but I guess not.

Hmmm, I wasn't able to see it earlier, nor Ket's 'kids'. Yes, I agree wholeheartedly with the "gets what ya' pays for" - isn't it the same with Photo Bucket? I do think that most people are actually 'paying for' some 'free' server space with their ISP, and maybe don't realize it though.

I bet that Image Shack is like so many of the other free servers - only a certain amount of 'hits' per so many hours, and then you must wait for the 'next' time period before they will allow hot linking again. I didn't try to paste the url into my browser to see if they would open that way.

Hmmmm....I have never heard of that, but it I guess it could be. I can't even get my "gallery" at ImageShack to come up, apparently it's gone now. This is frustrating, but since it is "free" guess it wouldn't do much good to complain. LOL. I think I will just delete the site from my bookmarks and stick with the paying sites. :-)
