Wake-up call for my fellow Muslims

Muslim-bashing. That’s the accusation many of my fellow Muslims now hurl at the various news outlets for their news stories about a Freedom House investigation that found extremist Islamic literature in some leading American mosques. This name-calling is unfortunate.

Since 1980, the Muslim world has experienced an enormous growth of religious fanaticism and extremism the likes of which Islam has not experienced in its 1,400 years. This movement continues to grow because of the spread of Saudi-created and funded Wahhabi Islam, a sect that used to number no more than one percent of all Muslims. But now because of money and technology, it has spread around the world.

Extremism is also growing because of an ideology called political Islam. The basis of political Islam is the rejection of secularism and the belief that the mosque and the state should be completely intertwined. Unfortunately, history has shown that when politics and religion are completely intertwined, disaster results.

One Muslim "gets it". Now, what about the other 1.4999999 billion of them?

"This name-calling is unfortunate."

I think Americans aren't any longer buying into the "cry of racism" tactic. They seem to have figured out that it is nothing more than that - a tactic, designed to get you to question yourself and what you know to be right and correct.

Wahhabism represents the "real Islam" having its roots buried deep into Mohammed's revenge and rule pholosphy.

It has a broad appeal and uses its own financial network FROM charitable donations at mosques and other organizations THRU larger contributions from larger donors THRU middle men who financeer and distribute the money TO the various Jihadist organizations, who pay for the training and training equipment of the actual killers and bombers, TO the groups that provide marytr-reward money to the martyrs' family.

In Islam, EVERYONE contributes to Jihad--some directly, some indirectly. But everyone pays and Allah will reward them all. The clerics says this is so, and everyone believe it.

That is why this Jihad will never end, despite any verbal al-takeyya the infidels get fed.

Is there any place in the Koran that cites "turn the other cheek"? I doubt it.

Agreed...get the legals and illegals out and keep them out and keep a close watch on the "citizens"...sorry to say it, but it's the only way.

I think you misunderstood the article. It says, "Muslim-bashing. That’s the accusation many of my fellow Muslims now hurl at the various news outlets for their news stories about a Freedom House investigation that found extremist Islamic literature in some leading American mosques. It's the Muslims who are saying that the news organizations are doing "Muslim-bashing." The author says that they shouldn't hide behind that excuse.

Yes, I realize that is his point. I'm simply pointing to his point in support of the fact that folks aren't buying it anymore.

Radical Muslim and Jesse Jackson come from the same camp. Those who blame everyone but themselves for their problems.

Unfortunate?
Better get used to it Kamal. When you act like an animal for generations, sooner or later you'll be treated like one.

Me? You passed my threshhold when your mickey mouse "charter" called for the destruction of the country in which you are squatting.

An outright lie. Fanaticism, murder, rape, slave trading have all been the typical existence of islam since its inception.

I will grant you this: you haven't skinned a military opponent lately and blown his skin up like a balloon. Lately, that I know of. But now you shoot children in their beds. Lovely.

In the last 1400 years, that is the only effective negotiating tactic with this death cult. Not the principal; not the main; the only.

I just hope this time the world does a thorough and final job.
Yes, whatever you're thinking, that's what I mean. After all, humanity "eradicated" polio and smallpox, right?
