FReeper Canteen: What's Your Board/Computer/Video/Card game? |
Here's the topic for today:
What is your favorite Board, Computer, Video, or Card game?Board Game --> Monopoly, Sorry, Candy Land, Checkers, Chess..etc Computer --> Monopoly, Diablo, Sims..etc Video --> Any game for a game console. (Game consoles would be something like Playstation 2, Nintendo 64, Sega, Xbox, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance and so on.) Card Game --> Poker, Rummy, Go Fish, 52 Card Pick Up (Hehe!), and so on... We had to explain this for Ma. If you knew what we were talking about, just skip this part. Thank you!
Have at it folks!
Help bring some holiday cheer to our Troops!!
Diva Betsy Ross will return next week all by herself. Due to something tomkow probably did, DBR is taking a break. A special investigation has been opened. We'll let you know what our finding turns up. (It better not be a smelly Burka!)
Here's a heads up!!
WRITER33 has a new book coming out tomorrow: "In Defense Of Liberty". Check it out!! Help support our Veterans and FReepers!! |

Does anybody else play Shanghai? Or Shanghai Rummy? Picked it up from the Italian in-laws, and have loved it ever since.

I'm here to tell any lurking military person that, thanks to YOU and what you DO, more and more people in the world are able to stand up and demand their rights and freedom.....and that will make all of us - your neighbors, your families - safer here at home. Thank you.

Favorite computer game -- Free Cell.
Favorite Board Game -- Sequence.
Another favorite -- Rummikub.
Used to be a mean Trivial Pursuit player, but popular culture has, thankfully, left me behind.

It's time consuming. But it's football, so it's a wonderful way to pass the time! Will let you know how things are going (and when I get fired) as events happen. :)

I'm a big fan of the whole first person shooter computer game genre but don't quite have enough computing power for the latest and greatest.I thought Doom3 had awesome graphics, just a little too awesome for my cheap ass Dell with a 2gig processor,512 megs of ram and a 128 meg PCI video card.I'm blasting my way through GORE these days it's about on par with Quake 3 graphics wise with slightly more realistic environments. As far as board games go RISK is the only one worth playing, my Crisco Twister days are long gone.

Wow. Hadn't thought of Stratego in a long, long time. Awesome game...stupid bombs always did me in.
Certainly a spades/cribbage/hearts fan.
Computer? No time...too much spent on work or on FR. Used to love old school Apple II games like Lode Runner, Castle Wolfenstein and Rescue Raiders.
