FReeper Canteen: What's Your Board/Computer/Video/Card game? |
Here's the topic for today:
What is your favorite Board, Computer, Video, or Card game?Board Game --> Monopoly, Sorry, Candy Land, Checkers, Chess..etc Computer --> Monopoly, Diablo, Sims..etc Video --> Any game for a game console. (Game consoles would be something like Playstation 2, Nintendo 64, Sega, Xbox, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance and so on.) Card Game --> Poker, Rummy, Go Fish, 52 Card Pick Up (Hehe!), and so on... We had to explain this for Ma. If you knew what we were talking about, just skip this part. Thank you!
Have at it folks!
Help bring some holiday cheer to our Troops!!
Diva Betsy Ross will return next week all by herself. Due to something tomkow probably did, DBR is taking a break. A special investigation has been opened. We'll let you know what our finding turns up. (It better not be a smelly Burka!)
Here's a heads up!!
WRITER33 has a new book coming out tomorrow: "In Defense Of Liberty". Check it out!! Help support our Veterans and FReepers!! |

Hah! I still have most of the pieces of my old Battleship game. According to beachn, I must have had it 100 years or so.

Yes I know what you mean.
I saw the special on Front line the other night and did nothing but cry ,it was almost to much for me to finish watching it ,but I stuck with it.
May God watch over our troops and bless them.
To: Kathy in Alaska
That is a wonderful story. Thank you for posting.

LOL!! You're funny!!!
No...not my CPAP...
A Tens Unit is Electrical stimulation...blocks the message of pain to the brain. It is a little, portable unit...looks similiar to a hand held radio. It has lead wires and sticky pads. You put the sticky pads on either side of the area that hurts and turn on the juice! Anything between the pads is covered and should have relieved pain levels.
The day I used it on him, it was his knee that was hurting. It was noticably swollen. I put the unit on, gave him his meds and laid him down with his leg propped. He stopped crying immediately. I left the unit on for about a half hour...long enough for the meds to kick in!

COOL! I wonder if that would help my mom. Or the bigger question, if she'd use it! HA!

You're a wonderful FRiend! I appreciate the prayers from all of my FR family!
It really is hard to see Cody in pain! He has a handicap placard for the car and people yell at me for parking in the handicap spaces, saying we don't look disabled!
My dad took the kids to the store one time...they were using an electric rider cart, and a store worker said that Cody couldn't ride on the cart...my dad told the worker that cody had a more serious disability than my dad did, (and dad has had back and heart surgery!) Some people are so judgemental! :(

I don't understand people like that, not all handicaps are visible on the outside.
Those kind of people are such inconsiderate idiots.
To: StarCMC
It's very easy to use...and is a wonderful tool!
I use mine to help keep my back from cramping while doing dishes and other housework.
I think it has to be perscribed...mine did, but that may just be so it would be covered by insurance. Have her ask her doctor or physical therapist about a "TENS UNIT"

I'll bet she could get a prescription for any pain help she wants - but I doubt she'd use it!
