They said that the communications said that Bin Ladin is telling al-Zarqawi to concentrate attacks IN THE USA, instead of Iraq---Zarqawi is in the United States..?

Coop doesn't think Syria is a state that sponsors and harbors terror.Coops entitled to his/her opinions, even though incorrect.
I'm rather surprised you took that blather at face value.

Hopefully, Condi will point out these points when she goes to London---hopefully she will wear her "dominatrix outfit"! Shouldn't that comment be accompanied by a photo?

That was the point that Bret and Shep made---
Isn't al-Zarqawi JUST a little bit busy in Iraq?
The report I saw only said the little bit that I reported--I'm sure there will be more details later--

If Syria is, indeed, fighting for its survival, they cannot survive without Lebanon. That's why I'm skeptical. If Syria is fighting for its survival, they can't survive by a military take over of Lebanon. al-Assad isn't that stupid...he must know there would be intervention, and he wouldn't be on the winning side.

Nothing, unless you deny that Syria is a state that sponsors terror, and has been long before 9/11, even before Reagan was elected President.
To: sodpoodle
Not sure of your point...but as of now....when Prez Bush speaks of regime change...countries know he isn't just whistling in the wind...are you saying a major scale backlash of terrorism against American interests because of change in the ME??
To: Txsleuth
Bin Ladin is telling al-Zarqawi to concentrate attacks IN THE USA, instead of Iraq---I'm sure that got someone's attention...lordy knows it got mine.

LOL...I was DEFINITELY not thinking you should apologize. That's okay, because I was. So prove me wrong. Show me the mention of Syria in Bush's 2002 Axis of Evil speech. Show me how the BBC report is wrong, and CNN reports, and Fox News articles...

Show me the mention of Syria in Bush's 2002 Axis of Evil speech.Read the first half of the speech, the rest of the speech involves domestic issues.

Nothing, unless you deny that Syria is a state that sponsors terror, and has been long before 9/11, even before Reagan was elected President. You haven't produced a link other than the White House speech (twice) which hurt your cause. And you dodge questions incessantly. Of course Syria has sponsored terror for years. Thanks for the friggin' newsflash.
You incorrectly assigned Syria to Bush's Axis of Evil speech. You were wrong.

Sorry, I was under the impression Syria was thought to be evil. I didn't realize they were an ally.
