Terri's Freepers,
Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.
What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.
Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.
If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.
A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.
Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.
What can we do?
1. LOBBY TO SAVE TERRI
2. HELP BUMP THIS THREAD.
3. POST ARTICLES YOU SEE ABOUT TERRI.
4. VISIT PINELLAS COUNTY FLORIDA AND VIGIL WITH US AT HOSPICE WOODSIDE.
5. VISIT TALLAHASSEE AND LOBBY IN THE HALLS OF THE LEGISLATURE.
6. HOLD A DEMONSTRATION AT THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION.
7. Join the Message Board that freepers started at the Crystal Cathedral/Hour of Power. TELL YOUR CHURCH ABOUT TERRI.
8. Tell your friends that Terri is alert and aware of her surroundings and to visit www.terrisfight.org to see her videos.
9. PETITIONS. We will gather current Petitions here for you. At this time, you can sign a SAVE TERRI PETITION AT www.renewamerica.us. THERE ARE ALSO IMPEACH GREER PETITIONS ABOUT.
Finally, the Pope has no Living Will. He will be SAFE as long as he stays away from George Greer's courtroom. The Pope is in our thoughts and prayers and he knows of Terri. He wants Terri to be freed from oppression and from a painless death by starvation-dehyration.

EXACTLY, that is my position also. And frankly alan Keyes, a Constitutuional Scholar cannot understand why the CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF THE STATE and the CHIEF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, Jeb Bush, DOES NOT ACT IMMEDIATELY by taking Terri into PROTECTIVE custody. George Greer and colluders are a runaway death train! They NEED TO BE STOPPED. It is NOT disparaging to ask WHY a readily available tool of protection is NOT being used when it CAN be.
Whyy is Bush so hesitant to use protective custody in this case? Why didn't he use it in October 2003 or sooner? Could he be fearful of tangling with the corrupt FL courts?
Florida HB 701 (Starvation & Dehydration of Persons with Disabilities Prevention Act) passed the House Health Care Regulation Committee 7-4. The bill must now pass through 2 other committees before it reaches the House floor.

TALLAHASSEE -- Florida lawmakers re-entered the debate over Terri Schiavo's fate today, as a key House committee passed a bill aimed at restricting a guardian's ability to cut off food and water to an incapacitated person.
It's unclear whether the broad legislation will be applied to Schiavo, but the bill's sponsor, Rep. Dennis Baxley, R-Ocala, said that was his hope.
"If I have my way, we'll get it passed by the 18th (of March)," he said, the date which a judge has set for the removal of the severely brain damaged woman's feeding tube.
The bill passed the Republican dominated House Health Care Regulation Committee 7-4 along party lines. It must pass two other committees before it reaches the House floor. A similar bill has been proposed in the Senate.
Hi OP. I can see that this would be near and dear to your heart. This case is truly UNBELIEVEABLE. I CANNOT understand all the legislative hand wringing. The tools are there for the picking up. Are the guts???
The Republicans in the FL House are holding firm, but the Republicans in Pinellas Co. must be up in arms. The fear is that the FL Senate Republicans will turn "democrat" and block the bill there.

There are several liberal Republicans in the FL Senate and some "conservatives" who are pro-MRS. I would imagine that no Democrats will support Terri in the Senate. The Democrats see her as a useless part of the "Republican" constituency.

I emailed Jeb Bush and told him that we in CANADA are horrified at the Schiavo situation. I stated a lot more showing that I know the case. I then asked him to do his DUTY and take Terri into Protective custody and rescue her from those who would MURDER her. I asked him to get DCF investigating the Medicare and Medicaid FRAUD perpetrated by Michael Schiavo and George Felos. I asked him WHY the Pinellas county Sheriff REFUSED to investigate this matter in the very beginning. I mentioned that it is known that that Sheriff is a contributor to George Greer's campaign. I did say a lot more but emails such as this will show that others, even from a distance, are learning the facts of this case and they are NOT pretty.
Pinellas was one of the first FL counties to turn Republican. Over the years, many "democrats" in ideology became "Republican" so that they could compete on a level playing field with other Republicans in Pinellas County. The same kind of transition happened in Lubbock, TX, too. In 2000, though, the pro-death Albert Arnold Gore, Jr., won in Pinellas. The county may becoming more competitive, but I don't know about its long-term political trends.

For far too long now Politicians in general get away with NON answers by giving lukewarm nothing explanations. They are PAID to represent the people. They can therefore ANSWER A QUESTION STRAIGHT UP!!

Have you tried side step. I put in DC to Tallahassee and got back the lowest fare of $432, but I don't know what dates you had in mind. I tried the 11th through the 13th. Delta was the cheapest for those dates and route.
I'm waiting a little longer to see what happens before scheduling a trip. We are thinking about driving, but haven't firmed up anything yet.
The Republicans ought to be ASHAMED to be linked to THIS "Conservative". If that's a conservative, do away with them.

Hopefully you or pc93, or one of the other "wise ones" on Terri's Freepers Thread will give us the information on what the next 2 commitees are, and the contact information so we can begin expressing our views to them.
Let's shift gear on this locamotive on move it into a higher gear. It takes everybody, calling and writing.
