Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.
What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.
Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.
If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.
A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.
Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.
What can we do?
1. LOBBY TO SAVE TERRI
2. HELP BUMP THIS THREAD.
3. POST ARTICLES YOU SEE ABOUT TERRI.
4. VISIT PINELLAS COUNTY FLORIDA AND VIGIL WITH US AT HOSPICE WOODSIDE.
5. VISIT TALLAHASSEE AND LOBBY IN THE HALLS OF THE LEGISLATURE.
6. HOLD A DEMONSTRATION AT THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION.
7. Join the Message Board that freepers started at the Crystal Cathedral/Hour of Power. TELL YOUR CHURCH ABOUT TERRI.
8. Tell your friends that Terri is alert and aware of her surroundings and to visit www.terrisfight.org to see her videos.
9. PETITIONS. We will gather current Petitions here for you. At this time, you can sign a SAVE TERRI PETITION AT www.renewamerica.us. THERE ARE ALSO IMPEACH GREER PETITIONS ABOUT.
Finally, the Pope has no Living Will. He will be SAFE as long as he stays away from George Greer's courtroom. The Pope is in our thoughts and prayers and he knows of Terri. He wants Terri to be freed from oppression and from a painless death by starvation-dehyration.

You can't of course. Many of the emerging Republican elected officials in the South are imitating their Democrat predecessor: trying to be all things to all people. In such cases, I have found that it is the liberals, not the conservatives, who usually get the worm. I don't think conservatives can expect much of anything constructive out of this Senator Lee. Robert E. Lee, he is not! Yes, he is adopting "end of life choices," the new name of the former discredited Hemlock Society.

I called Senator Lee's office at the 800 number. Apparently it is the district office that it connects you to. I asked again if I could find out what Mr. Lee's position was on SB 2128 as I left a message yesterday trying to find out and was promised a phone call back. The young woman who answered the phone (Becky?) recognized my voice said she wasn't able to find out yet. I said that he had said in the news that he wanted to be fair to Michael Schiavo and Terri at the same time etc. basically wondering how that was possible. She said she didn't know as he was in Tallahassee. I asked if I should call the Tallahassee office. She said I could. Anyways I told her that I would still like a call back. I relayed that this bill isn't just for Terri but for all disabled and vulnerable people in the state and that it will protect them from being taken advantage of by people like Michael Schiavo, etc. I then cut to the chase and asked her if they aware that there were crimes being committed in the case of Terri. She admitted that they are receiving a lot of information in regards to crimes and that they are compiling all of it together. (I guess they are trying to make one big picture of what is really going on.) Let's hope. I thanked her for her time.
PLEASE CALL THE SEPARATE SENATORS AND HOUSE REPRESENTATIVES AND REPORT BACK TO THE LIST WHO IS IN SUPPORT AND WHO IGNORANTLY OPPOSES .. Tom Lee says he wants to be fair to Michael Schiavo and the right-to-die crowd .. he also wants to be fair to Terri.. wonder what that means. Michael Schiavo has held Terri hostage for nigh on 13 years. Fair to Michael Schiavo? Maybe if being fair means a jail cell! Awww Michael doesn't want Terri to get help.. waaahh waahh. his feelings are hurt. Pulleezz! Wake up Tom Lee! Please let Tom Lee know that he is trying to be fair to someone who is attempting murder. Ok, this isn't just about Terri but is about others who may be in her situation in the present or in the future. It cannot be denied that she is one of the vulnerable, abused, neglected for whom the new bills would provide protection. Time for our leaders to step up to the plate for what is really right and err on the side of life. Terri needs out of hands that attempt to kill, back into the hands of those who love her and back on the road to her recovery through rehab and therapy. She has been denied to be able to be on that road for over a dozen years! Michael Schiavo wants the new bill to be just about him so that the bills can be denied because of his own selfish, petty, and criminal desires. Michael Schiavo doesn't believe in informed consent. He believes in substituted hearsay wishes while actively preventing his ward from having her own voice. Does the state really need to stoop to his level? Wake up!

I just called his office and the person who answered said she couldn't tell me if Senator Tom Lee supports SB 2128 that it is the first day in session and I said that there are conflicting stories as to whether or not he supports the bill or not. The person couldn't tell me and I told her that I need to know because supposedly he was in the news saying that he didn't support it. She took my name and number and told me that she would call me back. We need to find out what the deal is and urge him to support it. (see below) also see

Clearly, state Circuit Courts are not applying the law appropriately in a number of cases throughout the United States as it relates to vulnerable and incapacitated persons and their retained rights. A measure like bill 1151 would give these innocent people a Federal avenue of review that we consider a retained right of criminals. I believe the rights of the disabled amongst us should be no less vigorously defended than the rights of those who have broken the law.
I also believe that without such Federal protection, cases such as these will grow more complicated and burdensome on the state courts and innocent lives will be lost.

You will be very happy to know that I called Senator Tom Lee. Teh woman taking my call was not interested in taking my name and address. Only wanted to knwo if we were "for" or "against." I coersed her into taking my contact information, informing her that all of France is Appalled. That in France th lande of good food and wine, they do NOT starve people to death. I re-iterated how this is making America Look bad in France. His actions are portraying Americans as extreemly Barbaric.
I do feel that sice I was calling from France that she did write a little memo off to the side and that my comments will be forwarded to the Senator.
Then we had a little discussion about the number of phone calls she is getting. She did admit that the majority of calls are in support of Terri. They are keeping a tally.
SO EVERYONE CALLL!!!! And after you call, then Call Again!!! We know how to Freep Polls don't we??
They are not taking names just a Tally, so call, and call, and call again.
She said that the majority of phone calls are FOR Terri

Yesterday, attorney George Felos filed a "notice of non-filing" with the 2nd District Court of Appeals. Felos will not file an answer to the initial brief filed by attorney David Gibbs.
Felos also filed an objection in opposition to the emergency motion for review of the trial court's (Greer) denial of stay pending appeal.
The 2nd DCA said they will make a decision no later than Thursday, March 17, regarding the Schindler's appeal.

I'm reading the DCF Won't Rule Out Protective Custody and this just crossed my mind.
Why didn't LaBelle report that MS blocked them from completing their investigation? or if he did, who did he report it to? There are so many problems with Terri's case it's beyond staggering! I hope DCF is checking out those questions!

I want to encourage folks who CAN go TO go. I know it's difficult and even those who desperately want to may not be able to. I know -- I'm a student and I have four VERY LARGE projects due on Monday...fortunately, I can do them on line so I'm coming (IF I can get out of work -- a big if at this particular moment) armed with my laptop to work on school projects whenever possible in the hotel. I know obligations make it difficult for so many, and no one would ever say you're not doing your part if you CAN'T come (prayers, emails, letters are just as important. I venture to say nothing is MORE important than prayer, and I believe that)...but if you can be there, please do! Every drop of rain makes an ocean...every person there makes a difference. Ramble off.
I plan on being in Tallahassee on Sunday along with a few other supporters. Tally is about a 4 hour drive for us.
