Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.
What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.
Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.
If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.
A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.
Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.

Euthanasia should not be allowed nationwide for the pure and simple reason that we, as a country, could not handle the responsibility. These days, too many people have simply taken attitudes that are far too casual toward serious subjects. We talk about subjects such as plastic surgery and the concept of divorces as normally as we would talk about ordering lunch.
Such a morally casual attitude should never be allowed to happen when the subject comes to death by euthanasia. Death is never a subject to be taken lightly. Whatever you choose to call it, euthanasia still means ending a life purposefully and unnaturally.
As a culture, Americans like to find the easiest quick fix to any problems that arise. There seems to be a belief deep inside every American that the solution to all the problems of the world comes in pill form.
That's why euthanasia should never be legalized nationwide.
Imagine a person finds out from their doctor that they have a terminal illness, and only has six months to live. He or she is given the option of euthanasia. To avoid a painful end, he or she chooses to be euthanized. There are tearful goodbyes, lethal injections, funerals, et cetera. Now fast forward to two months later, and the doctor discovers that the lab made a mistake and the patient wasn't sick at all. There could be a breakthrough in the treatment for the disease-- or even a cure.
For example, there is the story of a Florida woman, Terri Schindler-Schiavo. She has lived in a vegetative state since 1990. Her husband, Michael Schiavo, and her parents are currently fighting in court about whether or not she should be allowed to die by having her feeding tube removed.
Her parents do not want the tube to be removed because she had made some progress in increasing her awareness of voices and movements. Meanwhile, Michael Schiavo wishes the tube to be removed so that he can marry his fiancee.
What message would that say if someone was euthanized simply because they were disabled? Their life wasn't important enough to keep? That they were useless, dead weight and better off dead? Why should someone be killed simply for not being normal? It was evil when the Nazis did it, it is no less evil now.
If euthanasia were to be legalized, there is always the danger of it somehow becoming a fad quick fix. If someone was depressed, or under a lot of emotional stress, what would stop him or her from simply going downtown to a clinic and ending it all?
Death will not solve your problems, or cure your diseases, all it will do is make you dead.
Lives should not be thrown away simply because someone decides they no longer serve a purpose. We should be trying to find ways to save lives, not end them.

If Terri is supposedly brain dead like Felos has convinced judge Greer of that, than why would he say that feeding Terri via the mouth could result in a painful death??? If she is brain dead than how would she even feel it FELOS??? He is arguing the exact opposite of what he says is supposedly true! How does Greer not get this?

Felos is one of those silver tongued devils. He has outsmarted himself, though. He has the nerve to say he doesn't want Terri to die a painful death but yet that's exactly what he's proposing.
By the way, it is worth repeating - The ACLU has stepped in on Michael Schiavo & felos' side in wanting to starve Terri to death and yet this same ACLU has come out against the death penalty for murderers by lethal injection because they believe that would be cruel and unusual punishment and a violation of the murderers' First Amendment right of speech.

The people who Hospice helps pass over are past interest in eating.
They are starved and not given water (as this speeds the process of death) unless the family wants water given). What Hospice does is adminsiter MORPHINE to the point of coma, as they listen for intestinal shutdown which allows them to project time of death.
I know this...I watched an aunt go thru it.

Future Legislation Aimed at Saving Terri Schiavo

- Sen. Mel Martinez (R-FL) and Rep. David Weldon (R-FL) Introduce Incapacitated Person's Legal Protection Act
WASHINGTON, March 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Senator Mel Martinez (R-FL) and Congressman David Weldon (R-FL) introduced legislation that could save the life of Terri Schiavo, who suffered a brain injury 15 years ago.
The Incapacitated Person's Legal Protection Act (HR 1151, S 539) will give Terri, and those in similar situations, the same Constitutional protection of due process as death row inmates, common sense legislation. Presently, the law does not explicitly recognize due process for an incapacitated individual and leaves the rights of disabled persons at the mercy of the courts instead of defended by the Constitution.
The Incapacitated Person's Legal Protection Act will not apply to circumstances where an advance medical directive is in effect. The Act simply provides a final avenue of review of the case to insure that a disabled person's Constitutional rights of due process are maintained and that justice is done.
"Dr. Weldon's legislation would allow Terri to have her own counsel that can argue her case, a right given to any criminal in the United States, and Terri not a criminal but a woman truly fighting for her life," says Tony Perkins, President of Family Research Council.
"The disabled deserve due process," continues Perkins. "In the United States we don't execute people without due process and we shouldn't execute the incapacitated by starvation. Beyond being cruel and unusual punishment, this is an opportunity for Congress to finally check the power of runaway courts."
"We commend Senator Martinez and Congressman Weldon for taking the initiative and acknowledging a vital inconsistency in the process by which our courts determine the fate of those who cannot speak for themselves."
