A shuttle train derailed this morning at Grand Central Terminal, injuring four of the seven passengers riding on board. New York City transit officials say the train was approaching the station at about 6 a-m. when it hit a bumper block causing it to derail.
Four of the passengers sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene. The train operator was not injured.
The shuttle, which runs between Grand Central Terminal and Times Square, resumed service at 6:45 a-m.
Plane crash, boat exploids and shuttle derails. Not a good day for transportation in the tri state ping.
You forgot to mention the westbound garbage hauler that crossed five lanes of eastbound traffic this morning on I-78 in Union, scattering its load all over the highway and causing endless delays during the morning rush.
I didn't see that one yet. Thanks for the update.
There's no way in heaven that can be financially self-supporting. How many tax dollars are being wrested from the northern shires to pay for this boondoggle?
