My daughters are tall blue-eyed blondes. They also have a genetic heritage that is 1/16th Crow Indian, which makes them a heck of lot more Native American than Ward Churchill.

He is reaping the whirlwind he has created. The universe is just beginning to toy with him and I expect things to continue downhill for him. To be a little sarcastic, it couldn't happen to a more deserving man.
This man was a psychopath and for years has been conning and bullying the world. It is a common story but still leaves me floored. I don't know if the university was anything more than a victim of this man.
Note he's had three wives. And this one graduated from CU in 2000. I wonder if her taught her and if that is when the relationship started. If so, he is also a predator of his students, grounds for firing. We need to find out when and how he met her, and if he taught her.

Ward Churchill has been masquerading as an Indian for years He waves around an honorary membership card that at one time was issued to anyone by the Keetoowah Tribe of Oklahoma. Former President Bill Clinton and many others received these cards, but these cards do not qualify the holder a member of any tribe.
Ward Churchill is a fraud.
Churchill has said at various times that he is either one-sixteenth or three-sixteenths Cherokee, yet genealogical reporting by the Rocky Mountain News and others has failed to turn up any Cherokee ancestors - or any other Native Americans - in Churchill's family tree.
Harjo met Churchill at a conference in 1990 and says she was immediately suspicious of his background.
"There was nothing in his manner or appearance or his way of relating that made me think I was dealing with an American Indian," she said. "He's not a native person. He's a white man."

The Universities love it and enable this type thing. It allows them to operate outside of all rules or opprobrium. It is power. It is Marxist. Look at Julian Bond and U VA. I was born in the USA by parents who were born in the USA therefore I am 100% Native American. Any attempt to refute this is racist. I prefer to be called an American because any hyphen simply reduces the person to a lessor subcategory.
Lets see, hired because somewhere along the line someone got pregnant by someone who had some Native-American blood, whatever the hell that is. Now that he has been shown to be a fraud he cannot be fired because he is not partially a hyphen American.
