Yes... Some people simply don't understand that just because we CAN say something doesn't mean we SHOULD.

I clicked on this thread with the sincere hope that the typical snide and hateful remarks would, for once, be put on hold.
I see I was wrong, but not the least bit suprised.
The amount of hate around here, for someone who deserves none, sometimes stuns me.
Some of you sicken me.

Sorry folk, the Pope is dieing.
I don't mean to be mean but that is it IMO.
God give him rest.

I have no malice to anyone. I am a Christian.
I had no idea that my few simple remarks would rile the bowels of so many.
I am not sorry for anything I have said. However:
I am not responding to any more remarks and won't write any more.
Guess you all have suceeded in stifling free speech! Great job for conservative "thinkers!"
God bless!

The Pope personifies what being a Christian is all about.Exactly. This is what I understand the role of the Pope to be. An example for all mankind to follow.

There's a time and a place for everything; the day Dale Earhhardt was killed wasn't the time and place to go into a NASCAR chat room and say, "Get a life, folks, NASCAR sucks," nor is now the time to make thinly-disguised innuendos that the pope's soul is in jeopardy because he's the head of the Great Satan Catholic Church.

I wonder what God Almighty thinks of Popes anyway. The same way God Almighty thinks about you.

You DO know Constitution Day was referring to the poster who wanted "real news" -- not the condition of the Pope -- on Fox News, do you not?

Just because one has free speech does not mean one should run off at the mouth. There's a such thing as common courtesy.
FR is a big place. If you truly want answers to your questions, post them on the Religion forum. This isn't the time or place for them.
