Maverick Republican Sen. John McCain said Sunday that his New York colleague, Sen. Hillary Clinton, would do well if she becomes president of the United States.
"I am sure that Sen. Clinton would make a good president," McCain told NBC's "Meet the Press," as both he and Clinton were being interviewed from Baghdad.
While noting that as a Republican, he'll be supporting the GOP nominee in 2008, McCain reiterated, "I have no doubt that Sen. Clinton would make a good president."
Asked whether she thought McCain would make a good president, Sen. Clinton was somewhat less effusive, responding tersely, "Absolutely" - before erupting in her familiar cackle.

If nothing else, the guy is consistent. He’s championed Obama at a time when he was running against him, and now he’s championing the second worse person I can think of, to hold the office.
MeCain needs a padded cell, for his own safety.

Not “now” actually. This is a thread from 5 years ago.
Back then Hillary was our public enemy #1.

OK, let's check the scorecard shall we Rabs?
McCain: "Hillary would be a good President"
McCain: "We don't have to fear an 0bama Administration"
Now I ask the question: WHEN has McLame ever said:
"Sarah Palin would be a great President!"
Think about this for a minute. That goofy sonuvabitch spouts off about HILLARY CLINTON being a 'good President', makes all sorts of assurances about how we shouldn't worry about OBAMA in the White House, but to the best of my knowledge, he has NEVER had such warm words for his own former running mate, has he?

(Hi, Sarah Palin here, asking you to put aside your common sense and vote for that RINO John McCain)

Yep, I , too, have had a gut full of his advice on who “not to be afraid of”. Bring that padded cell on!

Thank you Impy. I appreciate the correction and heads up. It’s important when the infraction came along. It is also important to note just when John made it, because when he made it she was the worst possible leftist candidate on the horizon. Again, the guy is consistent about heralding the worst of the worst, if not in the time frame I had thought.
If this guy isn’t the prototypical Manchurian figure, I don’t know who would be.

I don’t know about that. Don’t they have better political instincts, learned after they’re hard lesson in 1994?
Obama is destroying his own party.
Hillary is smarter than Obama. That’s one of the reasons I wasn’t enthralled with freeper efforts to help her beat him in the primaries.

McCain lost his mind in Vietnam. We have suffered putting up with him enough.

Impy, she might run him a close second, or even best him for worst if she got a chance. It’s out duty to make sure she never does.
