Maverick Republican Sen. John McCain said Sunday that his New York colleague, Sen. Hillary Clinton, would do well if she becomes president of the United States.
"I am sure that Sen. Clinton would make a good president," McCain told NBC's "Meet the Press," as both he and Clinton were being interviewed from Baghdad.
While noting that as a Republican, he'll be supporting the GOP nominee in 2008, McCain reiterated, "I have no doubt that Sen. Clinton would make a good president."
Asked whether she thought McCain would make a good president, Sen. Clinton was somewhat less effusive, responding tersely, "Absolutely" - before erupting in her familiar cackle.
Oh, so you are then okay with how the "other" media outlets do their reporting.
Here's just a recent example:
Today, former presidents Bush and Clinton were guests on CNN. It was a nice interview, about Tsunami Relief, with both Bush and Clinton being friendly and gracious. (I did notice Clinton copied Bush's body language... nodding his head left and right, looking to the side, squinting his eyes...)
Then, just as the segment was over, the interviewer said. "We only have a moment left, so President Bush, have you seen the story about telephone calls being taped of your son? Were you aware of this story?"
Former Pres. Bush was a bit stunned, by this last minute attack, of course. The camera was zoomed out, and there was Bill Clinton with a "I feel your pain!" grimace, as he reached out to pat Bush's thigh in sympathy.
This is the kind of MEDIA attack we the PEOPLE are sick of!!!
And to Carl of Newsmax's credit...
Hillary DOES cackle.
It is not Newsmax's reporting on this issue that I have a problem with - it is the fact that they use such language as "cackle" to describe Clinton's laugh. No need to lower one self into using personal insults when reporting. How many times do we Conservatives object when the Left media pundits compare Bush to a simian because of his mannerisms? That Newsmax uses left wing style is not surprising because they were founded by former left wing communist neocon types who retained the confrontational style.
Let's hope that never happens.....
No. Newsmax was founded by Chris Ruddy,
who reported on Vince Foster's death and was
a maverick of his time.
They make a good magazine too!
I get mine, every month!!
http://www.newsmax.com
If Newsmax is not funded by Neocon groups - my apologies - I mistake them for Frontpagemag.com's neocon internet tabloid.
Ruddy was on the right track - Foster, IMHO commited suicide inside the White House - and his body was moved to the park - he was not murdered by the Clinton's - but the Clinton's did not want the scandal of the first suicide inside the White House - so they removed the body - and cleaned up the mess in the room he shot himself in.
So they were part of a suicide inside the White House cover up but not the killers. That is what I concluded.
McCain is nuts - he wanted to arm jihad Chechens against the Russians and fight a war over them against Russia. McCain is a dangerous man.
He didn't get my vote. I wouldn't vote for him if he ran for dog catcher, and I've written letters to him telling him so.
Can someone remind me why McCain is a Republican again? Because I just don't see it. The words "Hillary Clinton" and "good" don't even belong in the same sentence; it's a disgrace to the word "good."
Tell McNitwit to shut up!
IMHO Foster was murdered.
And Bill and Hillary aren't innocent
in his death.
Hey, thanks for mentioning http://www.frontpagemagazine.com
I never went there before, and its a great site!!
It is also in the TOP 5 of News/Media Sites on the WEB!!
And Newsmax and WorldNetDaily are in that list too!!
Cool!!!!
Love it!!!!!!
Post 333... Double that, (Bill and Hillary)
and it becomes **666**
Must be fate! :)
haha! Hey, thanks! :^DAnd what is so funny is that after I posted that, I also noticed
it was post "333" and I also thought about doubling it would
be appropriately the sign of the Devil "666" .....
McCain=RINO
The more I listen to him, the more he scares me.
frontpagemagazine.com is out and out garbage.
