BIN LADEN CAPTURED???
various | Feb 19th, 05 | various

Posted on 02/19/2005 1:09:05 AM PST by Khashayar

I am reading on different Iranian hardline sources that Bin Laden captured today some where between Iranian-Pakistan border.

I am not sure if this is true or false but I am reporting what I am reading.

The articles and stories say that the Mullahs want to use him as a bargain material with the US and EU.

source is a hardline Iranian web site run by former IRGC commander, Mohsen Rezai

http://baztab.com/news/21775.php

The source also quoted an unknown US official in Pakistan confirming the story.

hmm what is Debka saying about it ;o)

I have to figure there are some extra looney libs out there who think he IS dead or captured, but we are hiding the fact to keep the military out there.

Henry Hyde, along with some other congressman, had a capital-not to be confused with Capitol-idea in this regard.

They suggested-and actually drafted a bill-that would have offered informants tangible rewards, in addition to hard currency.

While the "Awards For Justice" program initiated by the State Dept. was a wonderful innovation in our ongoing efforts to curtail international terrorism and bring fugitives to justice, it simply does not work in certain, specific instances.

Some goat herder on the NWFP is a lot more apt to be enticed by the promise of a Jeep land rover, or a collection of useful farm implements, than he is by some unfathomable amount of cash.

For most of these people, offering fifty million dollars is the equivalent of offering people from the West "seventy quadrillion flammable Zarqouons" in return for vital information.

In other words, it has no palpable value or meaning to them.

The source says He was captured 3 weeks ago at Iranian border by Pakistani forces and handed to the Islamic Republic Agents.

The source says, it is likely the regime is going to use it as a bargain material during the nuke negotiations to lift the load from the Mullahs shoulders and ease the tensions between the US and Iran.

The source says this is also confirmed by an unknown (anon) American official in Pakistan.

Hello Khashayar.

As I write this post to you; there are 206 articles I found in Google that are recent regarding the BIG advertising campaign the USA is doing right now in an attempt to capture UBL.

I appreciate you excellent translation abiltities. Amazing, really! Please translate what is published on the website . . . I do not mean any disrespect, sir. Please tell us all what the text translates into in English. Most people is the Western World do not appreciate the many poetic nuances of Persian and Arabic.

Was it in Farsi? I believe there are other Persian languages (though I could be mistaken) so maybe it was in something else. Maybe Farsi is just the English word for the language

Sorry 'bout that.

My bad.

You see, I live in New York City, and have never held a learner's permit, let alone a driver's license.

Though, it looks like I might need one in the immediate future.

No problem. From what I've seen of some New York streets you'll need a 4 wheel drive to get around!

If osama was ever captured, I would not want to know for 30-years.
Why? Well, there are only so many years you can lock a man
up before the media cries FREEKING FOUL!

I say kill the bastage with old age and in a 4x4 cell.

If our 9'th district court found out we actually had Osama,
the Taxpayers would have to put up with that old B(f-n)S of
how he deserves an attorney and an Islamic court somewhere in Somalia.

Yea, all the best stuff happens on the late shift, anyway...

Late shift? It's after noon here.

Get going, ya slackers!

It's funny.

When I was traveling to Gettysburg on vacation several years ago, I was speaking with this cab driver, who was driving me and my family to a hotel.

Anyway, she regaled us with a story of her one-and only-trip into the City, where she was supposed to drop off someone...IN THE MIDDLE OF CANAL STREET, IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC!

She vowed never to make that mistake again.

Pre-dawn, where I am.

Even the new (lame) Saturday morning lineup on WABC hasn't made their appearance yet.

I seem to remember reading that you were back in the states (maybe around Christmas?). Are you in Iraq again?

We are slackers over here. I'm sitting listening to the Brian Setzer Orchestra sipping on a Tennessee Whisky.
