We previously reported the conservative group, Citizens United, planned to erect two pro-Bush billboards in Hollywood "thanking" Hollywood for Bush's reelection. As planned, the signs were created, coinciding with the buildup to Oscar night. However, one of those tongue-in-cheek billboards was seriously vandalized Wednesday night, when a Swastika was painted on President Bush's forehead.
Few Angeleans saw the disfigured sign though, since Citizens United anticipated the vandalism, and had previously arranged with the sign company that their billboards would be immediately repaired if, in fact, they were damaged.
True to their word, the overnight damage was repaired within hours.

Just to go through a few.
Spielberg who chastises the Boy Scouts because they won't let homosexuals become Scout masters and probably supported the court fights, that ultimately lost, to force them to. Ever heard of the American concept of free association.
Scorsese who directed a blasphemous and direct slap to millions of Christians with the last temptation of Christ.
Tarantino who has for the most part produced nihilistic violent filth that is hailed as art. I wouldn't be surprised if tarantino has a picture of "piss Christ" hanging on his wall.
On and on. Modern hollywood isn't your father's Oldmobile, these days.
"He gave a belligerent speech and got booed off the stage"
No! no! no....some people started booing-- and then OTHER people started booing the booers, so that it only sounded like alot of booing at MM, but in reality, the booing was at the booers who were....well....booing loudly....
"Hell, we should round them up and hang them from a bridge!"
Only in a perfect world.
Don't get me wrong. I voted for Bush and agree with the message on the billboard. But it's basically the same as saying "Nah, nah nah, nah, nah nah!" It may feel good, but it's petty and immature. As for the vandalism, it's both immature and criminal.
I should admit that my conservatism isn't nearly as rooted in religious beliefs are your's is so I have a higher tolerance for the things you describe. I enjoy a little cathartic nihilism every now and then! :-) I respect your beliefs and agree to disagree about the definition 'Anti-Americanism'. Regards.
That's the story Moore gave backstage. No way to know if it was true or not. For instance, Roger Ebert said Moore was lying and the boos were solid all the way around. In any case it certainly was not something they were expecting and you can believe it played a part in them snubbing him this year.
Hehe. I suppose a bit of that was aimed my way when I was a child.. 8^)
Added to that, it's not really mean spirited at all.
Dude, we must have gone to different schools together. 8^)
"That's the story Moore gave backstage. No way to know if it was true or not."
If it came from Michael Moore, it's a lie.
I mean c'mon, have you ever been anywhere where you've observed people booing other people booing, escalating into a chorus of boo's? ...I didn't think so.
You were right the first time--Moore was booed off the stage.
Please tell me Barbara Streisand is on it!
Is Whoopie Goldberg really Jewish ? lol
She says she has Jewish people in her background as well as Chinese.
And the morons in Hollyweird beleived her ....
The should put one of those hidden cameras there and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.
Who says that I do not have tolerance.
All I'm doing is giving my opinion about modern hollywood, which is, IMO, a hotbed of liberal and blame America first ideaology.
There can be no denial of that fact. You stated earlier in this thread that Grace Kelly is the epitomie of the hollywood you admire, to paraphrase a great American President.
Grace Kelly didn't leave hollywood, modern hollywood left her and middle America.
