A Way to Save Terri Schiavo

Here's a way Jeb Bush may be able to save Terry Schiavo: Open an investigation into the possible assault that led to her comatose condition. Have the state pay for her maintenance to "preserve the evidence" and pay for language therapy for her so she can tell us what she knows about how she got into the coma. It struck me that the reason her husband wants her dead might be because he's afraid of what she'll say if she recovers. I don't see how a judge could possibly deny the state the right to preserve evidence of a serious assault.

Hope she's not dead yet.

Yet, that extensive application of judicial scrutiny and review is, in the subjective views of the many legal and evidentiary wunderkind at FR, either corrupt, tainted, criminal, or rampant with murderous intent, etc.

It is, make no mistake about it. If you take some time and start learning about this case you will have your doubts also. Whether you will admit or not is another matter. What you will find is the reason why we believe as we do.

You're able to know when her teeth are brushed and by whom?

That's the kind of info an employee or other insider would have access to. Hmmm.

I do and he is. I practice over there and know him and the other judges in that circuit and I reassert that he is a competent judge guided by the evidence and Florida law. As virtually all lawyers, all we ask of a judge is to listen carefully, conduct himself soberly and as a consummate professional and to judge wisely based upon the law and facts. We all receive rulings adverse to our client, but that's what litigation is about. We can believe the judge is wrong while, at the same time, accept the result knowing the judge did his/her best to get it correct. If we're still not satisfied we apply to the appellate court.

That's what happened in this case far more frequently and with vastly more accommdation to the objecting advocates than I've ever seen. The judges in this case have acted in the highest tradition of a learned judiciary. The fact that the recurrent affirmation of the trial court's rulings are not satisfactory to your ideological orientation is meaningless, and in fact, confirms that we're a nation of law not situational and ideological jurisprudence.

If this is true then how is it that they seal videos of Terri struggling to get out of her wheelchair when they told her they were going to starve her to death-- and tell me how they are following the law when the law is specific about "living wills" and Terri not having one-- they STILL decide that KILLING her-- is LEGAL??

Apparantly she doesn't even have the luxury of receiving the therapy that her husband promised to give her when he sued for money TO TAKE CARE OF HER!

I will NEVER understand how people can arrive to the opinion that she deserves to die.... and be tortured in the process......

For Pete's sake if this judge were the LEAST interested in TRUTH- then why seal the video?

This isn't crazy conspiracy to ask these questions....
it's a natural and valid question when in search of the TRUTH!

I don't trust any decision made by someone HIDING THE TRUTH...

Terri had NO LIVING WILL and FL law states that one is needed to do what Michael the Monster is doing....

ADA Cf 28 CFR, Ch 1, Subpart B, Sect 35.130 States "Nothing in the Act or this part authorizes the representative or guardian of an individual with a disability to decline food, water, medical treatment, or medical services for that individual."

I don't care if every judge in the world agrees with Greer.
It's still murder to starve and dehydrate a human being to death.
It has always been murder, and it will always be murder.
Regardless of how a legally blind jurist, an adulterous husband, and his euthanasia attorney see it.

God's Law trumps George Greer, Michael Schiavo, and George Felos, any time.

No she didn't. The medical evidence (enzyme level) shows that Terri did NOT have a heart attack.

The medical evidence also shows that Terri may have had an insulin shot prior to the ambulance arriving (BTW, Terri is NOT diabetic) and her bone scan indicates that she suffered some kind of trama (i.e. BEATING!) DURING the time she was in the SOLE CUSTODY of her two-timing-father-of-two-bastard-children-possible-BOTCHED-ATTEMPTED-MURDERER-not-legally-qualified-guardian-husband Michael.

An investigation of the CAUSE of Terri's condition is SERIOUSLY NEEDED!!!

SOOOOO TRUE!!! Terry even has a vocabulary! Despite the lack of medical care and therapy-- Terri had actually IMPROVED HER VOCABULARY! YES! SHE HAS ADDED TO HER ABILITIES DESPITE the lack of care, stimulation, and therapy she was awarded money to cover. Instead of using the money to give her the medical care the money was intended for-- hubby had used the money to try and LEGALLY KILL HER.

No. The judge bent and disregarded the law to forge his agenda NOT only upon Teri Schiavo, but also upon the people, as it will establish precedent.

Ms. Schiavo is responsive (and has been for most of the time since her "collapse"), sits up in a chair, and has even spoken several words on various occasions. Yet, based on the hearsay of her husband, which he failed to mention until five years after Ms. Schiavo was injured and he had secured a million dollar award (upon suing a doctor for his supposed error in the treatment of his wife)that he promised to use (but didn't) for her rehabilitation, JUDGE GREER illegally ordered to have her feeding tube removed.

And BTW, this isn't the first time I've witnessed Judges operating this way.

What universe are you living in? This is NOT the way our "Justice" system has traditionally worked.

Because you agree with the Judges agenda, rather than admit JUDGE GREER is FAILING to apply the law, you CLAIM is he is upholding it. NICE try but NO CIGAR!

NO AUTOPSY or RESUMING OF THE BODY at this point...

I would think that since Terri DOES RESPOND APPROPRIATELY to questions which her mother, father and Doctors have asked her, that that would indicate a brain.

I don't recall the exact details, but I believe right before the last time her feeding tube was pulled, Terri SUDDENLY JUMPED out of bed IN RESPONSE TO someone on the phone telling her that if she didn't get up out of bed and walk out of the hospice that she would be DEAD because her husband was trying to have her killed.

Gee, just think what Terri could do if she DID have a brain!

Or if she could EVER get the THERAPY she was supposed to be getting for the last DECADE, but which her two-timing-father-of-two-bastard-children-possible-BOTCHED-ATTEMPTED-MURDERER-not-legally-qualified-guardian-husband Michael was PAID FOR BUT DIDN'T GIVE HER!!!
