GEFFEN UNLOADS ON HILLARY: 'SHE CAN'T WIN'

Sen. Hillary Clinton should not count on help from Hollywood mogul David Geffen in her possible run for the White House.
Geffen, who was a generous supporter and pal of Bill Clinton when he was president, trashed Hillary's prospects last night during a Q&A at the 92nd St. Y in New York City.
"She can't win, and she's an incredibly polarizing figure," the billionaire Democrat told his audience. "And ambition is just not a good enough reason."
Lloyd Grove reports in fresh editions of the NY DAILY NEWS the audience broke with "hearty applause" over Geffen's comments.

I agree. The idiots here in Indiana will vote Evan Bayh into any office. It's not like we are even that particular about our Republicans.

Duuuhhhh! I have many solidly liberal friends and that's the one candidate THEY SAY that the WOULD NOT vote for.
But the 'Toon and Hitlery didn't have the bloggers to contend with in the 90's. We are here now and can shine the light of truth on anything and everything she says and does. Her Heinousness won't be able to get away with her wicked trickery in the future.

Have said that for years and years. She was always so publicized by the media as a "sweetheart" (Yeah right) and there were those who thought she was all that the media and SHE thought she was. If you ram someone down peoples throats all the time and talk about how smart they are the time and market them in that manner then enough people will fall for it. That's what happened intentionally with hillereee. Now over the years and especially with Free Republic and its networking...we know for ourselves who is out there and what they are made of.
I always said there would be others on the scene that would make her look like a big zero and there are.

I do want to see her run though. The entertainment value alone will be worth it. Hillary vs. Condi would be a dream come true. Think the last election was nasty? Wait till the girls start fighting.

Maybe not the only way, but clearly her optimum strategy. Question is, how would she do that?
Nail on the head. We had 8 years of Bill because conservatives underestimated the Clintons. We'll have 8 more if we repeat that mistake.

I don't know if that's true. It seemed to me that the more intense the internet criticism of Kerry became the more the MSM dug in their heels. They didn't get more balanced, they just dropped the pretense of unbiased reporting and became more openly partisan.
Including Rush who said Hitlery would never win the NY Senate seat, but she did. The brain dead New Yorkers recently gave her a 64% approval rating, a fact that certainly says a lot about NY voters.
There are not many people that could fill that bill and it's certain that McCain won't do it. Splitting the party would work for her but it's more easily said than done.
I though it was 6 years, but yeh, really.
