Something's not adding up here. Could also be an on-going thing too. At least
I hope so...:-)

The head of the UN nuclear inspection group said yesterday there is nothing to be too concerned about in Iran.
That means it's time to open the bomb bay doors and cue Slim Pickens.

I know...something is not right with this story.

Iranian state TV reported Thursday afternoon that an aircraft had fired a missile at an area south of the city of Dailam in the Bushehr province of Iran.

who has a map of Iran with Dailam on it?
This might help:
The region of Dailam is perhaps less unknown than its inhabitants; and even before Dailam one has to think of the little canton Dailaman situated in Gilan to the south of the city of Lahidjan, although this district was only a remainder, similar to a colony, of ancient Dailam. As for the Dailamites, their role in the history of Persia began to be drawn with clarity only in quite recent times, due above all to the publication of the work of Ibn Miskawaih, the historian of the Buyid [Buwayhid] dynasty.

Wouldn't it be sweet if this was a cruise missle that took out a supposedly top secret facility in that supposedly deserted area. Sort of a wake-up call to the mullahs that they are not as clever as they thought. Even if nothing was destroyed, call it a spotting round.

The global leftist media can make any crazy terrorist look normal. And anyone fighting back look like a bully. They've played that game for a long time, but the rules are changing. If Iran thinks that they can pull off a cheap PR stunt and make it stick, then it shows how out of touch they are. Even their own people won't rally behind the government. Instead they'll take it as either proof that the ayatollahs are fools for provoking the Americans, or proof that they're desperate for resorting to such brazen theatrics.

Anybody know of a map showing where all the different secret underground Iranian nuclear rearch facilities/warehouses are? You could ask Rumsfeld for one, but then you'd have to die.

Newest tidbit from
Sky News (same link in #49) -
Local officials have been despatched to the site to identify the cause of the explosion, according to Arab-language television Al-Alam.
The "More follows . ." continues to be at the end of the article.

Bingo, terrorist trash talk, backed up with a single missle from an unknown plane.
More proof that Iran is an un-serious nation, not worthy of a nuke.
To: hawkaw
You would think they would have to bomb the hell out of the place to really ensure nothing would be saved ....Nah, I'd think one well placed missle could put the important bits out of business.

If it is finally a attack on the facilities may the missiles all find their target. Make it a efficient attack guys. If it is UFOs, which is a running joke, all I can say is use the force Luke Skywalker.
To: All
One missile? Makes no sense.
My guess: Iran just tested an operational low-yield nuke of their own, and this is a cover story.

Could be an accident at their plant. Looking for sympathy from world because the big bad USA is pushing them around. The world will believe it. Anything negative about US and it is believed.
