The President had no formal appearances today, but in a 98-0 decision, nominee Michael Chertoff was confirmed as the new Secretary of Homeland Security by the Senate. President Bush signed a declaration that Ohio is a major disaster area due to a severe ice storm, heavy snow flooding and mudslides (it's still a mess here!). First Lady Laura Bush spoke today at the 2005 Community College National Legislative Summit in Washington.
The Dems are on the run and losing ground. It's a GREAT Day to be a Bushbot, so ENJOY your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!!

I saw a story about it yesterday, I think it was in New York Times.
Pretty good-sized dinner they were having as I understand it. About 60 people or so...not too shabby!
60 people I think I believe Wolfstar mentioned on one of the weekend doses.
I still hate J&V....it's not he dentist's fault...I have neuralgia in my lower jaw...I fight with it all winter, the cold and humidity set it off....I have Vicodin when it becomes unbearable...I've learned over the years to tolerate a lot of the pain....but it's bad tonight because of all the drilling on my lower teeth...

Praying for you, Mystery, that your Pain will Ease Up soon. I myself had to get a Shot of Cortisone into an Inflamed Bursa in my Left Hip today, and the Pain was so Awful I Involuntarily Called out for the Lord! What a Day!
